This is my first Amazon Echo Dot, it is an amazing product. After setting it up in minutes and link up with Amazon music service and other app services. Simply by using my voice to issue commands to the device to what to do. It behaves so well.

Having owned both gen 1 and gen 2 echo dot, Amazon has really improved the speaker quality on the gen 3. The same functions you are used to with any Amazon Alexa product but with a much better sounding speaker compared to the older generations.

I like this smart thing it's smartly useful and helpful doing smart things remotely with your voice. You can listen to the news and the music and also you can set reminders.

Sounds great and easy to hook up. Gave it to my mom and dad for Christmas and they love it!

I am a fan of all the Amazon smart echo devices. I own 4 speakers. This one really works well. The sound is amazing.

The Echo Dot 3rd gen is a big improvement from prior generations. The sound quality is superb compared to 2nd gen. For a bedroom it is of excellent use. I would recommend to replace all 1st and 2nd gen dots to this generation.

The addition of the Echo Dot has been wonderful. I can now get the same features as the Echo without having to unplug and move it. Great sound as well. Good for the bedroom, outside, or the basement. Got a great price on it as well.

The Amazon-Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Smart Speaker with Alexa in charcoal is very easy to use! I love having it available to me when I want to listen to music. I just say what I want and she does it.

This device is awesome. I have ring smart lights in my house and I am able to control them by talking to Alexa. Speaker is very loud as well when listening to music.

Better sound , better understanding, I use it to listen to music, set my alarm, set my reminders and even for the grocery list, it's great!

The Echo Dot was a missing piece to my home automation puzzle. I had most of the items I needed but until I added the Echo Show and Echo Dot, I didn't realize the convenience of home automation. My smart home is now complete.

I own several echo dots (2nd gen), this is a nice upgrade. Not a lot of new features, but the new look is cool, better speaker/volume is great. Seems to be easier to connect to wi-fi. Picked up for $25 during holiday when I bought two of these.

I installed this along with some light bulbs and a thermostat at my elderly in law’s. It was simple to setup and easy for them to use. I no longer get those calls asking how to turn the temperature up anymore.

Speaker is good enough for it’s size, great for listening to talk radio or podcasts. Alexa voice recognition is much better than Siri, and works well with my smart plugs and wi-fi bulbs. The Alexa app itself and the skill enabling storefront are really chaotic and could use some work. But this price is great for a device to dip your toe into the ecosystem.

I have the google mini to control my smart plugs and lights but usually find trouble every few days. With Alexa and the echo dot these problems are gone and plus Alexa is much friendlier and includes many more interactions!!!

The sound is great compared to the second gen. Would totally buy this again when it goes on sale. The assistant is nice to have in the house for services not yet HomeKit compatible as you can use IFTTT to control many things as a work around.

Hey Alexa, keep up the good work! I already had a dot before getting this one for free with another purchase. The NSA is probably using this to spy on me, but it turns my lights off when I’m too lazy to get up, so I would recommend.

Use the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot everyday. So convenient whenever you need something or even an alarm. Would recommend this device to anyone.

I actually got this as a free gift when I purchased my ring doorbell. I have the Show as well. It’s connected to my alarm so when I’m in my office it still announces if someone is at the door. Great gift!

Alexa is by far the easiest smart device to own. With so many options to connect your house and life, I’m not sure how we lived without this. My house has 4 Alexa devices that communicate with each other.
