Gave as a gift for Christmas and they loved it. You do need someone slightly tech friendly to get this set up. I personally set it up for my uncle and created him a pandora account so he could listen to music.

I have always heard others speak on this which made me inquisitive on purchasing. Ive heard all the news stories on being cautious with this device for varying reasons. However, with all things there is a way to protect your things. I received this when I purchased my tv. I must say, I actually enjoy it. It is super interactive, you can use the alexa app to set up your preferences, schedule. You can also speak to the device to get your news briefings, reminders, traffic updates and things like that. You can also set it up to interact with the fire tv. I could go on about the things it can do but if I did, this would be a very long review. I will recommend this.... You will not be disappointed!!

Great product, this makes you lazy but worth it. Tell it to turn on light and it does. Tell it to play music and it does. Go down or up on the volume and it’s done. I likes my echo

This is an outstanding tool that we use in our bedroom. We can get any information at any time of the day. This also gives us any weather updates or works as an alarm using music! We love it.

I love my Echo. Simple and easy to use....and handy for quick answers to questions you would otherwise have to look up. For fun..ask to play songs, tell jokes, and report on the weather.

Performs as expected. Great little multi functional device. Able to be interconnected with several other techie devices. Yet still do it's jib well.

I've purchased two echo dots and have been delighted with the sound, and with Alexa!! I created a wonderful Christmas 2018 playlist and also a 2019 music playlist. I love it!! I also have an ECHO. Great stereo sound!!

I was a skeptic of "smart speakers," I guess I still am somewhat. That said, this was on sale and the Mrs. wanted to try it, so we got it. So far I've no complaints. It was easy to set up, and is easy to use.

Superior sound quality to previous version and Alexa is fun in addition to being a helpful interface with other network items.

Works great! Nice to set reminders, shut off lights (smart plug required) and ask for help on various things. Perfect for anyone even without the smart plugs.

Love my echo dot! Have one in most rooms of our house. Such a helpful little item. We have it linked to our lights and vacuum. Awesome product!

I enjoyed this gift. I got it as a Christmas present and I love how it’s bluetooth. The only problem is that it has to be charged in order to work.

This is my third Echo Dot. This is a newer version than my first one and it shows. It's speaker is louder and sometimes does not need an external speaker. I will recommend this.

I love these Echo Dots! I have them in every room. We are so Alexa dependent. I taught my 2 year old grandson how to call Nana thru the Dot and Echo Shows.

Really like this echo dot 3, even more my kids, my personally downside is that with my accent, it doesn't understand me very well, also many of the questions don't have an answer it the answer is not what I wanted, also can't perform many functions, and got to specify things. But good overall, on many other stuff, like alarm, countdown, timer, connects to the Xbox, etc.

Great addition for the kitchen, we use it for music.

Use Alexa everyday for calendar updates, delivery updates, weather etc..

This little gadget had been sold out everywhere, even Amazon and I found it quick at Best Buy for xmas present. SCORE! The modern rounded look and different colors makes it easy to blend into any room decor. This light gray color is simply beautiful. The sound is much louder than the previous gen of dots that came out (that this one was replacing in my home), and the quality of sound is perfect- not high pitch or squealing.
