Really tempted to buy one for each room. Love the fact that I can cook and ask Alexa to set the timer without having to stop what I’m doing.

Great Dot

Not only do I play music through the Dot, it also allows me to control my lights through out the house, and actually control my TV (via YouTube Tv). I am very happy with this product.

3rd gen better than 4th gen!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had one of these already, and I’d recommend this over the 4th generation in a heartbeat. The only major difference would be the shape, and the mic array. The largest problem with the 4th generation is going to be the mic array, you basically have to almost yell for it to hear you. The 3rd generation does not have this problem. It hears me clearly, and the notification light is where I am able to see it. The processing speed is slightly slower than the 4th generation, but that’s almost not noticeable. I recommend the 3rd generation echo dot, over the 4th generation echo dot.
