When I purchased my TV. This item was FREE. Love it, its extremely helpful when I ask questions or ask to play music.

I do not give 5 stars so 4 star from me is pretty good. Music sounds better from gen 3 than the gen 2. It is a portal into the Amazon echo infrastructure so it can do far more than I have yet discovered. Because the screamingly endless possibilities the set up of anything more than the simplistic can be time-consuming and complex to get working.

Small but powerful. Very useful for everyday life, from playing misic to answering random questions about weird things. Love it!

My quick and to the point review for this 3rd Generation Echo Dot is pretty simple, the audio is VASTLY improved over the original Echo Dot. To say the original Echo Dot audio was "utilitarian" was being kind. However, performance wise in terms of responsiveness and just getting it booted up, it's a bit slower. The microphone is also seemingly less sensitive somehow? I have no audio testing equipment so I can't pinpoint why this would be, but my perception is that it's not as good as the original Dot or even the First Generation "Pringles Can" sized Echo device. Aside from all those minor complaints, this is an improvement in terms of sound quality and aesthetics. Cheers!

It's a perfect inexpensive fift to give someone during holiday. And it's really handy in daily life for all sort lf everyday activities.

I received it as a gift with another purchase. It is very easy to set up and very useful, also enjoyable. I will buy another Echo for other rooms.

These are awesome. I have one in every room in my house. Yes, it plays music but you can also ask for weather, ask for the time, set a timer, link it to other devices, etc.

This is a great thing to buy, especially for the price! It has great sound and features and its my number 1 music buddy when cleaning and hanging out and having fun! I love it! you will too! :)

Please don't buy the google home. This is so much better in every aspect. The dots UI is better, Alexa actually gives you the results you ask for and it sounds great. GG amazon...gg.

Daughter loves this gadget she just received it for Christmas and she’s been trying out the different things it can do and she like it.

I love these! We bought a few and theyre relatively easy to setup - easier with phone app.

I really actually love it. I use it for turning on/off my lights, setting a timer, reminders, etc. And Alexa is much more responsive than Siri, Js.

Bought to go in my bedroom to use as alarm. I also listen to sleep sounds at night. Of course music too! Love her. She even whispers now when I whisper a question.

Put in basement as a safety precautions. If any thing happens that I'm in trouble I can call on phone for help.,Works great

WE LOVE OUR ECHO SPEAKERS. WE HAVE THEM ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE AND PAIR THEM UP LEFT AND RIGHT CHANNEL. THEY SOUND GREAT!!!

Nice speaker and design. I have the echo show too and I like it a bit better although they’re two different things for different needs. This is nice and more portable. I gave it as a gift and the person is also happy with it.

Pretty good sound quality for how small it is. It's your typical Alexa device so your mileage will vary depending on what you ask of her.
