Finally got this little toy and I am impressed with it. I can listen to amazon music or my audible books with no issues. Just got a smart bulb and it connected with no issues allowing me to turn it on from another room, very nice. It was very easy to setup, it walks you through everything. :) Don't forget to shut off sidewalk sharing, if left on it will give easy access to your Wi-Fi network!

Bought a TV as a gift and this came with it. It's the 7th one my mom has in her house now and loves it. She went from resisting a smart home to barely touching any light switches but her favorite part is the music. only thing that could be better is how long it will wait for a command. She's not young and takes sometimes longer than the device has patience to wait for her to finish her thought.

Very inexpensive, easy to connect, a must have for any room. Can give you the news, play music, or play games.

The Echo Dot was simple to set up. I was able to easily connect it to a preexisting lamp plugged into a smart plug. I was able to easily communicate with Alexa and was impressed with the ability to get information, make lists, etc. I have “her” in the kitchen and am happy I can get simple info needed when cooking without having to stop, wash and dry my hands before searching in my phone or a book.

Got this item free with one of Best Buys amazing deals with purchase of a 32 inch TV. This is my 2nd Echo dot. I love them. Planning to get 2-3 more.. If you have Amazon Prime, you have to have Echo Dots in your home. Great to take outside for BBQ music listening/working out in Garage/ waking up the kids/ calling the kids on echo dot when they don't answer their phones. Its been a life saver.

We have several of these dot. Best Buy had a great price on these so we got another one. Love the ease of use and quality of the sound.

This is the third dot that I've purchased. They all still work, but I have a large house. The dot is easy to set up and use. Great for daily weather, setting alarms, playing music, calling other rooms, and setting timers. Highly recommend. The price is a little high, but I couldn't afford to wait until a sale came along. If I get another one, I will wait for a better discount.

I love this little Amazon dot. It’s the perfect Alexa device for the bedroom & the screened in porch so I can have access to music wherever I go. I also use it whenever I need information on a new subject. My grandson also loves the question of the day! I also take it with me when I travel since it’s small! Handy little device! This is my second one!

We bought this for our sons' room. They are 8 and 10 and love this paired with their smart light bulb. This doesn't take up much space, and the boys love how they can play trivia games, music and so much more. I love that I can enable a kid-friendly mode to moderate and filter anything I do not want them to have access to. This is our 7th Amazon device and our third echo dot. Well done Amazon!

I have 6 Alexa Dot's in my house. I know, I know..... I never really meant for it to be that way, my past three have been given as gifts and/or promotional items (like this one I got for buying the Ring Security system). I never realized how bad the sound was in my 2nd gen dots until I played music from this one. It is a NOTICEABLE difference. Bass especially gets an upgrade and everything is just more clear. While it's slightly bigger, it's definitely worth it and I would wholeheartedly recommend this over the 2nd gen.

The echo dot (3rd Gen) is ideal for placing in any additional room or distance area in the home expanding the reach of your smart home at an economical price point. It’s sound is acceptable of its size just as long as the sound level is set at or below midpoint. My echo dot was included at no cost with the purchase of an Echo Show 8 which was also discounted so I am very happy with my purchase. Fulfilling all my expectations without any additional cost to me demands an evaluation of 5 stars.

I have to say after having heard sound from the 1st gen echo dot and the 2nd gen echo dot, I was not expecting the sound coming from this device to sound as full as it does. It definitely sounds miles better than the previous generation of dots. You get all the features you would normally get in an echo devices but in a compact size and with great sound. Music, calling, smart home, lists, skills, shopping, etc. With new features and updates being added continuously. Great update to the echo dot line.

We bought this as our fourth echo dot, which are distributed through two homes. What these things can do is amazing! Command any of them to “open the magic door” to see what we mean. You can pause the adventure on one and pick it up on any of the others. We use them as radios to follow sports, etc. and move from one to another. We are planning to get more when they are on special. The “drop in” functions as an intercom system between homes. Once connected to the internet you just need to experiment!

I have like 4 of these in the house! They are great and I also love that they hook up to the Ring Doorbell! This way you don't need any extra chimes in the house!! Love playing music while cooking and at night we use the one in the bedroom to play sleep sounds to sleep better. The are just the right size with a good amount of sound to fit anywhere in your home!

I bought this for my daughter who is handicapped, legally blind and can't use a phone. She has been getting training with it and she loves it. She can tell Alexia to call for help if there were an emergency (it sync's to my phone), turn on the lights and ask her to play music :) She can ask her to tell jokes, set an alarm or what the weather is going to be. It's unlimited and a great tool for her! This one goes in my room so we can drop in on each other in case she needs me or I need to check on her.

Solid build quality, attractive and impressive sound quality for its size. I love smart speakers and I’m disvovering more valuable features as time goes on. Bluetooth receiving and transmitting, Aux out provide versatility. I use Echos wired to better speakers but this 3rd gen Dot has decent sound that carries far without breaking up. Set up is fairly easy. I find Alexa to be “smarter” than Siri but expect some shortcomings no matter what smart speaker you chooose. I’ll stick w/ Alexa devices myself(other than iPhone).

I have put off getting any kind of smart speaker but finally caved when i saw these on sale for 25 bucks. Boy am i glad i did though. This little thing is incredibly convenient, saving me time when i just ask alexa something i would have had to pull my phone out for, and playing my music from spotify or any song i want it to play whenever i ask. The speaker quality is impressive for being so small and having so much utility packed into such a small package. Overall a great buy.

The Echo Dot is working great and delivering great sound quality. I can play my favorite music by simply asking Alexa. It also can be used as Alarm to wake me up to the music. For small price paid for this unit, it is sure a steal.
