We never thought we would own one of these, but when we got it free with a Christmas sale purchase, we tried it out and was pleasantly surprised. Our son enjoys answering the question of the day.

I have the first gen Echo Dot and this is better looking and also has a better speaker. At these low sale prices, I am putting these units all over the house so I can give commands from anywhere.

It’s small and compact. Does what it needs to do. Can hear my voice from afar and speaker quality is what you pay for. Not out of this world but not the lowest quality.

What can I say…. this is great, sounds great and best part was I got it free with my Amazon TV as a gift!! Thanks Best Buy!!

I primarily use Echo Dot as a satellite unit for announcements, whole house music, etc. audio quality is ok. However... I use the Echo Plus as my smart home hub, listening to audiobooks, music. If you know you will eventually add more smart home devices, start with your hub and get the Echo Plus. Add on with Dots as you build your network.

I own three to four Alexa devices and this one is the new entrant to my collection. My Kid uses it to listen to Amazon stroytime most of the time and is busy talking to it and exploring the world. The best part about Best Buy is that I get to see what I am buying. Its super easy to setup and play around. Must recommend to all

simple, priced right. I installed this one out in my shop since I'd grown so used to having Alexa in my house. I found myself missing "her" in the shop. :)

must have alexa for only 20 super easy to set up with amzon alexa app very loud music from small device i would remend this a gifts

For the money it’s great. I use it for a music speaker but also it controls some lights in my house and pairs well with Amazon plugs and Sengled light bulbs.

This is pretty awesome. I wish I had purchased it sooner. This also works great with the Amazon Fire stick and many other things after purchasing smart plugs. Alexa is so smart and helpful, lol!

Great speaker. It is loud and clear and very easy to use. Fits anywhere.

The Echo Dot is pretty cool little device. My grand kids love that they can tell Alexa what song to play. There is 4 of them all yelling at it and somehow it does what they want. My only complaint is it sometimes changes the channel on my Fire TV even though the TV is in another room.

so far so good. It's not life changing and I got it for free with my TV purchase so I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Its about what you would expect from a speaker this size. Yes you need to connect it to the alexa app for it to become useful.

It’s awesome! I use it to play music and listen to podcasts. For being such a small device, it can be pretty loud with volume all the way up.

What a handy little helper she is! small and easily set up, with tons of helpful hands free options. I was very hesitant about having Alexa active in the house but its great!

The Echo Dot is great! You can ask it anything and it will respond to you. You can sync all your Alexa products together so you can hear them in the whole house which is great!

I got this as a free offer during Black Friday week when I bought the Ring doorbell. Whether you want to listen to music, check the weather, have a question. Alexa has an answer (in most cases).
