I have the 1st gen Echo Dot, put it next to this 3rd generation, it is so much improved in sound quality. The bass is so rich I thought it came from a much bigger speaker.

This device works surprisingly better than Siri in terms of interpreting our voice and sound. It’s also better than the second gen in terms of sound it produces. Overall solid buy.

This product works great. Has a lot of skills. Fun trivia. I can listen to music anywhere. I can set timers anywhere. I can control it from my phone as well

for me, this is very convenient coz i can communicate to Alexa and gives answers to my requests and questions.

So I’m late to the game for these devices. I really didn’t see much of a purpose but for the price during Christmas sales, I thought why not. We use it a lot in the kitchen for setting multiple timers when cooking. Creating shopping lists has been easy and it’s nice to have the list on the Alexa app while in store. Getting the weather report l in the morning when getting the kids ready and listening to music of course. Great device for under $30

I never thought I would get a virtual assistant but have enjoyed having this one in my kitchen to ask questions. Not a very expensive option for the ease of use.

I Totally Love, Love this Echo Dot! It is so helpful! Answers all my questions. Gives me facts, spells for me. First thing I talk to when I get up. Weather, what to expect in traffic, plays my favorites, turns my light off and on and well, I could go on and on. I actually haven't come close to all I can get from it but with me it's a need to know and Echo Dot will tell me what I need.

The speaker is really small and it saves space unlike other large plug-in speakers. The only downside is that you really gotta learn the commands to utilize it to its full potential.

Works as expected. Easy to setup to existing other dots on our Alexa account. We have them throughout the house to use as drop in/ intercom in all rooms.

These are pretty cool. I already have three. They don’t get used often and this one is still in the box. I’ll prob give it away to a friend. Reccomend

I like having this third unit in a far off distant bedroom. Convenient! Connected a fan with a smart plug nearby and this third additional unit controls it nicely.

These little speakers have very good sound to them. Its really nice being able to just ask alexa a question and get a response with in seconds

These are okay but I can't tell much difference between it and the 2nd generation. I use them mostly for voice control of bulbs and switches. I prefer the 2nd gen. better because they make nice wall mounts for them and if in a garage they resist dirt and dust better. These almost seem like a knock off of Googles similar product.

These are great to listen to our music without having to get up to change the sing. It is idea for not having to yell up the steps when needing something.
