Bought the Echo for multiple uses in our house. We control Hue lights, set alarms, play music, and also serves as intercom throughout multiple rooms in the house. May need one more!

Purchased one for each kid and everyone loves them. Kids use Alex for an alarm clock, music mostly. I like that I don’t have to yell anymore and can use as an intercom to call kids.

Have been using it for more than a year and no issues so far. It easily understands the command and provide relevant response.

Great for home automation... affordable simple to set up. I can control my exterior walk way lights, living room, office, kitchen lights all with voice control. Easy to use app...

Had allot of trouble syncing my email to it, but overall its an excellent toy to have around the house. Plenty of entertainment comes with it and it can be used to control other smart devices, electronics, set reminders, even help find your phone!

Love my echo dot. We didn't even know Best Buy carried them until black Friday, but the deal was incredible. We have the older model as well and this one is even better. Highly recommend.

Love this for our son's room! Only wish is that it had a clock, but you can just ask Alexa the time. amazed at the sound quality for such a small unit.

Prior to buying one of these for my mom for Christmas I didn’t have any desire to own one for myself. After setting hers up and reading what it can actually do I have to admit I was impressed so I went and got myself one and I really love it. My only gripe is the potential privacy concerns since this is basically a “hot mic” that needs to be left on If you always want it to work correctly but then again in this day and age if someone has the skills to do something nefarious like hack or listen in, they will do it anyway with the other electronics in your home like the tv or computer cam etc... you get the point!

Small but powerful. It does a lot of things, like music , alarm and you can give commands to turn off your lights and plugs as long as it’s connected on WiFi

This echo 3rd gen. Has a better sound than the 4th generation. The sound is much solid than the 4th generation. I would definitely buy more of these.

Good product. The newer model does have better sound. This is good for a childs room or bathroom. My dauger likes to keep it in the bathroom for news updates, music, and interactive games like 20 questions.

I bought this for a unisex gift for our Christmas party and then went back to buy three more. I really enjoy asking her questions and listening to music. Great purchase.

Omg this thing is AWESOME! We have a lot of fun using Alexa and having her announce things to the kids.

Good audio clarity, but speak distinctly and ask specific questions. Volume and adjustments on speaker are limited by size. Otherwise, it's a lot of fun and ALWAYS on!
