We now have a Echo Dot in each bedroom. Great for waking to and falling asleep music. Also a great timer, weather forecast and other uses that keeps you hands free.

The third generation of the Echo Dot works fine. I am not considered a geek so the differences between it and the first generation Dot I have escape me. Does look a little sleeker.

This was purchased for my daughters room and she loves it! Loves to listen to music on it, I like that I can call her from our other Amazon Exho product that we have. Great and fun!!

had it for a while now she does everything i say and responds fast but lately she has been delayed and isnt as quick responding as before she still does everything just not right away but i mean you can always replace for a new one down the line and isnt very pricey

Dont get fooled by the size of this speaker, it sounds amazing. With its voice control feature I can turn on and of many things in my house like lights, fans and AC, I love it.

This is great to keep in a room and play music from or even to listen to the radio.

This is definitely a great improvement over the gen 1 Echo Dot. While the bass notes are still limited due to the size of the speaker, the sound overall is quite decent for it's size. It also looks a lot nicer, too. So far, I haven't had any issues installing or using this device. It seems pretty reliable so far. I'm currently using this mostly to control my Philips Hue smart bulbs in my bedroom.

I love the third gen, it’s so much much louder and more clear than the previous generations, and with the great sales I bought two and paired them together for stereo in my living room!

I have the whole Alexa system and really enjoy the echo dot 3rd generation. I now give them as gifts to my family so they can enjoy them as much as I do.

It is very easy to set up and even easier to use! I use it for everything from alarms, reminders, shopping lists..everything! I even bought one for my parents.

I really like several of the features of the Echo Dot. I enjoy using it to access Amazon Music & running it through my sound bar. I enjoy being able to ask questions for quick answers and I enjoy the ambient sounds available when I go to sleep. However, although the built in speaker has a warm tone, I found it distorts easily.

Sound is not bad for the size but I do like that Alexa understands with no issues and provides good answer. I think Alexa is by far the best voice activated helper

I have purchased multiple Alexas for the house. This generation is much better as far as sound quality. It’s really a decent speaker for the size

The Dots are fun to use for pranks on your kids. Hide them in your kids rooms, and then use the Alexa app to start sending music or animal sounds to their room. Fun times!
