When we are in the kitchen with the Alexa show and ask her to do something, this Echo Dot will be the one to respond all the way in the living room. annoying that this cheaper item works better than the more expensive one.

I use it for all kinds of reminders, timer while cooking, and it alerts me when my Amazon orders are delivered. The speaker is average for music. You can ask questions and get answers without having to look anything up.
