Great sounding smart speaker. I do wish Amazon had not changed from a USB style power supply. I was able to plug the 2nd generation DOT directly into my wall outlet (which had 2 USB ports). The new adapter takes up too much space around the outlet and I end up losing access to one of my ac outlets.

I love the echo dots but the quality of sound has never been that great until now. For the price it's a great device to add some music to a room!

She’s like having a personal secretary... tells me my daily schedule, wakes me up in the morning, makes calls, plays music, turns my devices on/off, my personal calculator, etc. if you are a busy individual & don’t mind having some help multi-tasking, let this device be your personal secretary!

The amazon echo dot is great for having in the house - the features allow me to get updates on weather in the morning and and I can play music as I get ready for work.

this is my new favorite device in my house cause all i have to do is use my voice and listen to my favorite music.

We use our alexa devices for everything. This is small and has a good speaker for the size. We have one on each of the kids rooms and also use it as an intercom.

I purchased this speaker to use the AskMyClass skills. It works great! The sound quality is clear, and great enough for normal music playing (pop, rock, hip hop, etc.).

Pairs up nice with my Sonos Roam. I use them both together outside to play my music without having to have access to my phone

I absolutely love the Echo Dot, you can do lots of things with this little gadget... I love using it while cooking or cleaning to listen to music.

These are seriously so fun to use. I've got them all over separate rooms of my house. Incredibly easy to use and I love playing the music/games off it.

The sound quality is great and the appearance looks quite good. I have both the second and third gen and this one definitely beats the old one. No complaints yet

great for extending Alexa to other parts of the house, not sure I'm comfortable yet with her in the bedroom but hey, the Mrs wanted it.

The Amazon - Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Charcoal is a fantastic product. It was very easy to set up and get going. If you have an Amazon Prime account, this product is a must.

I use this so much. I really love the features this has, such as Guard. It is the most helpful little thing. I'm so glad I bought this. I highly recommend!

I never saw the need for voice enabled anything until I had a baby and now these dots coupled with a couple of smart plugs are a lifesaver

It can be quite entertaining to ask Alexa random questions. I primarily us it for playing Pandora music in my garage. The sound quality leaves a lot to be desired but it is functional. I would assume the bigger, more expensive units might have better sound quality. If so, maybe worth the added expense.

I would be surprised if there is anyone left that has used a smart home device like the echo or google home. I will say that the echo is much dumber than the google home but I also find it easier to use the Amazon echo connected devices.
