I have an Echo Dot and bought this one for a Christmas gift The recipients love it, use it all the time and have taught me some additional uses I didn't know about

Use these to play music throughout the house and to speak to family in other rooms without yelling.

I previously had the second generation Echo Dot and was skeptical it could be improved. I was wrong--the sound is much richer on the newer generation.

This is pretty convenient for me as I don't have to check my phone for everything anymore. With this, I can check the weather with just a few simple words.

I recommend this to all that already have amazon products in their home. It’s really easy to control items with voice command. Easy set up as well.

At the time when I purchased this, I didn't think I would use it that much but for 25 bucks on black Friday, why not pick it up? I got home and plugged it in immediately! It was very easy to setup and now I have fun using it on a daily basis! I love to wake up and check the weather and ask Alexa to play some classical music while I get dressed for school and/or work! great, useful item! Even at full price!

This is a pretty good speaker overall. Not as loud or as much bass as the bigger one we have, but for the size its decent. It's nice to just tell it the type of music you want to listen to and it'll start playing. Best of all is there is no service fees to use the music service with no commercials.

Very cool. Speak to it to listen to whatever you'd like. Good sound. Only con is that i wish it was battery operated because having to plug it in makes it limited for using anywhere.

If you want a good speaker, that you can talk to, this is for you. Simple questions can be answered for you while you do other daily tasks.

Got this free with the purchase of a Toshiba 4K TV, works like it should, just make sure you don't have anyone in your household named Alexa

I cannot imagine a time where I couldnt issue verbal commands and have the tv, lights, and music play.

This echol dot sounds better than my echo dot 2. The sound is clearer and still really no bass but what do you expect from a small speaker. Worth the buy.

Very convenient and easy to set up and use....was my first Echo - went on to purchase the Show 5 and the Show 8. Highly recommended!
