Very easy to set up and use. Been using it for several weeks without experiencing any issues. Clarity is excellent when listening to podcasts, news or music. Alexa is able to answer most questions. Highly recommend.

I love the echo dot. I have 3 & I bought this one for a friend. She loves it as well. Nice compact design with powerful sound. The sound is also clear. There’s so much you can do with it. the amazon-echo dot is an essential part of my home. We find so many uses that we decided to give one to a friend that did not have one. We use the echo dot as a speaker, a timer, an essential part of home automation, a master of all knowledge, a pleasant way to wake in the morning and a cooking assistant.

I bought 2 of these on sale to mainly use as an intercom in my house. I have even used it to call home when I can’t get through on my home phone. It does a lot more than this, but that is how I mainly use it. My kids love playing with it, asking Alexa questions or playing music on it. For it’s size it puts out decent sound. Also, it is aesthetically pleasing, but you do have to place it near an outlet for power.

Alexa has been useful for telling me the weather and reminding me of my schedule. The sound quality on the speaker is also great for listening to music and the design of the third generation would look aesticaly pleasimg in pretty much any room.

I purchased the 1st generation of the echo dot and have been relatively happy with it. I really like what they have done with the 3rd generation. It looks nice and blends in better with a home. The rounded shape is also more pleasing visually than the first 2 versions. Our house isn't very big but we have 4 echos stationed throughout. The echo dot as a standalone unit works great in the bathrooms at home.

It was a bit difficult to setup with my Audible account at first, until I got ahold of Amazon tech support and they let me know that my device needed to update. Since then, everything has worked perfectly! Great for a quick search-term when I don't feel like pulling out my phone, or for when I just want to listen to music and not have to search for it.

Absolutely love it. Nice having her around to help with the simple things. Lights, music, and a wealth of knowledge. A pleasant goodnight followed by a routine that was created to turn off all lights and then light the way to the bedroom as well as a heating/cooling adjustment and some deep sleep music to fall asleep with, all set on her sleep timer.

The best way to get the news, weather, time, and whatever else you need!!! This device is very strong, and mostly it’s solid as a helpful unit in anyway you'd like to set it to be! I have it turn on my lights, and play my favorite tracks and the best thing about it is that it connects to my bugger speakers that way I hear it all over my place! Amazing! Alexa rocks the Google home by much. Very much.

Purchased for myself as well as gifts for relatives. Very easy to setup and use. Sound quality is pretty decent from a small, inexpensive speaker. Got one for my mother as well as my in-laws who are not technologically-savvy and they are having a blast talking to their new friend, Alexa. I just made sure to turn off "Voice Purchasing" for now to avoid any unexpected surprises!

So I got this Amazon echo when I purchase a Ring set doorbell it came in the package free I try to use that and I lighted I never thought I would purchase one but now seeing how this works and see all the possibilities that you could do with this echo I am planning to purchase more throughout the house and give as gifts very cheap reliable easy to use easy to set up this product is very good

Have several around the house. Latest update enables one to time the listening enjoyment. Small foot print enables it to be placed just about anywhere. Still, learning how to give directions is frustrating. For example, country gospel music is what I use to call southern gospel music. Appreciate the periodic notices as to all it can help me with.

I purchased this item to work with my Directv satellite box. Was easy to set up and find skill for Directv. Sets timers records , fast forward, pause and rewind by asking Alexa . Works great.

So far so good. I only bought because it was on sale for a great price, but found so many uses. I also got a free light bulb and put it in my attic so now I can have Alexa turn on my attic light without me having to go up and fumble around in the dark for the string. Was going to add a switch in the garage but this was way cheaper with more options.

Good size for our counter and sounds great. can her music clearly, and does our commands
