I started with one and now my home is fully automated with 5 echo dots and one echo plus controlling everything from lights, to Xmas tree, coffee machine, irrigation system, heat/ac , doors, spa, garage etc. Small compact design fits easily on any shelf. Love whole home music playing across all of them. Sound quality is great. Thank you Alexa!

It becomes really handy if you have smart home feature enabled. However, it does not perform at it greatest when you need to broswe internet to get into some detail on daily basis. Good overall, can be used to play games or relaxing music. Solid 4 stars.

While this is a dot and not a full sized echo, the sound is decent. Unobtrusive size and color. Pleased with purchase.

This is a decent item for Alexa. My kids probably use it more than I do. It’s great for alarms, checking the weather and music.

Family had an earlier version & my kids loved it when they went to their house. Now they are loving having their own.

I use my echo dot for many things. From listening to my favorite radio station to ask Alexa to send my Roomba Robot to clean the house.

Works good. Easy to hook up with the app. I like to use it to play music.

I got this with a promo deal of BOGO with the ring peephole doorbell. If you have the doorbell then the echo dot is amazing. Not only does it answers questions on demand, play music, but it also announces when there’s motion in being detected by the ring doorbell. It also has a drop in option almost like an intercom when you can listen to what’s going on in the background of where the echo dot is placed. Great feature for people with kids, you don’t have to scream across the house to get their attention.

The 3rd Gen Echo Dot has substantially better sound quality than previous gens. It works great for bedrooms where the bigger Echo would be overkill.

The easiest set up! Our family keeps our echo dot in the kitchen, it makes it easy to listen to music, set timers, and google recipes!

The 4th generation echo dot smart speaker sounds great. im not sure if it is worth upgrading from the 3rd gen.

Love this and use it all the time. Works great with roku on one tv and fire tv

This is our first device like this and the whole family loves it. We plan on getting a few more for the kids rooms so we can talk to them through it.

Dots are great if you don't need a visual representation of responses. She still gives you everything you need, quickly with a low-profile appearance.

Great purchase for the cabin in Black Butte. All the convenience of home, just a bit scaled down. Outstanding value!

Amazon did it again. Overall quality improvements in sound and responsiveness. Upgraded from previous version and glad I did.

AMAZING is the word I will use to describe this echo dot. Speaker sound is loud and clear worth the money. A must buy.
