I am a single mom and this a great tool for me. I can yell at Alexia and tell her to add items to my shopping list when I am cooking, etc. I can tell her to play music or turn my lights on and off if needed if I get in too much of a hurry or my hands are full.

I was looking for a speaker for my garage and at first I wanted something bigger but then I saw this on sale and decided to give it a try. Good move on my part. Sounds great in the garage. I also put a range extender in my garage so there are no connectivity issues.

We got this for free with the purchase of a fire tv. It’s one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I got one. We love it. We have since gotten a few more. Switch out a few lightbulbs in your house to Bluetooth smart bulbs and you can control them with your voice. It’s very nice in rooms where the lights or lamps aren’t easy to get to. We can be sitting on the couch and tell Alexa to turn on living room lights and she will cut on all the lamps in the living room or we can be specific and tell her which particular lamp we want cut on. We can leave them on until we get to the top of the stairs headed to bed and tell her to cut off living room lights instead of fumbling our way in the dark. We also have it setup to play our Apple Music.

Easy setup and simple use. I like that Alexa needs few words to understand commands. Not once have I been told “sorry I don’t know how to help with that” as other assistants have problems. Good speaker and sound for its size and price!

I got this free one Christmas when I ordered two Echo Show devices. I got two free and I put one at my bedside and one in the bathroom. I listen to TuneIn radio when I get up. It picks up a local live radio station. I enjoy hearing the weather. It flashes yellow when an Amazon order is coming in too. It flashes yellow and warns me about bad weather coming up. We can make announcements all over the house using the iPhone or iPad. You speak into the Alexa app in communications and it will announce what you say immediately. It sends a transcript of your announcement to your phone app too. Sometimes the transcript is wrong and it’s funny itself what it says you spoke! One day I was sitting on the front porch and I announced using Alexa that there was a double rainbow outside after a rain shower. Everyone came outside to look. It is so handy!

We are Amazon Prime members in our home so we are loyal to their product line. I purchased the original Echo Dot last year but my daughter decided to take it to her room. I upgraded to the new Echo Dot and really like the new design and the sound quality. I use it in the kitchen.

I didn't think I needed and Echo, but this came free with the TV I bought. I actually like it! I can have it play any music I want and I can ask it all kind of news items. Great little gadget!

The Sound quality is way better than the Google Home mini. I was able to set up a lot of routines and had no idea that I would love Alexa so much. It is fun overall with the smart home stuff (easily configurable) which which I can turn on/off lights, heat, etc. Highly recommend.

I love having Echo Dot in my kitchen. Its that simple. Its the perfect piece for a room where other items might not work and takes up VERY little space. Plus, Alexa is funny, you can ask her so much and she comes up with some hysterical answers.

This is way more fun than I expected. I dont use a lot of smarthome features, but now that I'm getting used to Alexa, things are about to change. Really convenient way to listen to tunes while I'm working on the computer or playing on my phone. I use it a lot for simple questions and information too. Im going to order some smart light bulbs soon so I can make her do even more for me. Haha My major complaint is that I can't use it to call or text someone unless they sign up with the Alexa app too. That's a loss of a whole star there, because Google smart devices do that just fine with my Samsung Galaxy devices. This was free with the purchase of a TV, but I've mulled around the idea of getting one for a few years. Ive got other speakers that are better sounding, but as far as convenience goes, this little Echo is great for me. It sits right beside my recliner on a table where I embarrassingly spend most of my time. There has never been a problem of hearing it or not hearing me. The reminders arw handy too. Hve been dabbling with the shopping lists feature too. I espect to use this more and more but really wish I could call and text my peeps with her.

Nice little speaker. We've had one for years and love it, so when i found out this one was only $15 it sounded like a grest Xmas gift. They loved it.

I'm using the Echo Dot to manage music and some lights in my living room. It plays music and answers questions. Works very well.
