I love how easy it is to use. I think the sound is pretty good too, I just use it to listen to music in my room and it does a pretty good job for that.

I bought it mostly because i needed a speaker for music. I ended up purchasing 2, linked them, and i LOVE them. I use them as my alarms, to make phone calls, update my shopping list, and the list goes on. Very satisfied with this purchase

We got this free as part of a promotion. Set it up with the ring doorbell. It works as a second ringer and has so much more. It will set alarms make call, play your favorite music and so much more. I will be buying one for myself.

Sound good ,could use more bass, but good for it's size. Works as advertised.

This little thing is amazing. The sound that comes out of it seems like it would require a much bigger speaker. It seems much easier to talk to and have it understand than a couple of other devices I have.

I'm using the Echo Dot to manage music and some lights in my living room. It plays music and answers questions. Works very well.

Small and convenient if your looking for that smart home Siri type of tool. This answers all my questions, makes notes for me, plays music, has reminders, love it!

My 4 year old son really likes this. Easy to install and the voice or music are really clear. My son keep using this to play his alphabet or kids music and he keeps on dancing and playing to his room and I got this for free with purchase.

Bought this for my wife as an add on in the house. Located in the kitchen we it linked with Alexa in the living room. Once you get used to using it, they are awesome. Small footprint easily placed anywhere in the kitchen.

Easy to set up and Alexa understands my commands, just sometimes it picks up from conversations

This is my second echo dot, so two things: Repeat purchase and 'price versus quality' angle. I think that the echo dot is the same good quality and sound. The price is priced to be very competitive. The amount of online with Alexa support is fantastic. Say 9 times out of 10 you can find these routines very easy to use, think of alarm clock, timer, hold voice calls, turn on and off routines for smart lights. Security is as good or otherwise from the owner. You can change a few settings to keep privacy very secure. Online, the logs of the echo dot are stored for whatever length of time. It's easy and a routine could dump the older logs. I do recommend this echo dot.

My first Alexa device. Small and compact enough for me to put in my kitchen. Loud sound. Clear Response from Alexa. What I found out is the higher you place it. The louder you have to yell at it so place it within height level. Would definitely get again.

You can't beat the price. It sounds good and you can;t beat the price. If you want more sound go fo the bigger echo dot 4th gen or the more expensive studio. Most people would just love this one. Unbeatable price.

Love this Echo Dot 3rd Generation. The sound is incredible. I not only use this for music but I have it set to time my lights on and off. And when I don't need that light on, I just say Alexa turn off the light. I don't even have to be in the same room with the unit.

Got for free along with our fire tv. Easy to use. Guided set up. You train Alexa to to recognize your voice & it has a guest mode for when family & friends are over.

This echo is so easy to use and i love that i can have it in my bathroom to listen to music while i shower and not have to stop to change the song!

The set up is a little work. I still need to find it how I can connect it with Pandora so that when I want a station fm Pandora, Alexa can play it for me automatically. I also find turning it off is a little tricky. It seems Alexa doesn't take my off command well. But overall, the sound quality is good and perfect for the kitchen and family room together.

We bought one for the home, not really knowing anything about it. Got it hooked up and loved it. Then I bought one for my shop. Love that I can tell her to play any song or radio station, recipes, etc... So then I bought 2 more for the kids for Christmas. Love it!

The price is right and the product is great! I remember years ago, being at my friends home. They had music in their kitchen. 20 years ago, having music in the kitchen was not common. It was special. They had a wonderful sound system installed, it couldn't be seen, but it was heard. Fast forward 20 years. I live in a house where the previous owners wired it with Bose speakers on all levels and outside. It sounds great for sure... but what an expense!!! I use it, but not everyday. Instead, I use my echo dot speakers. Just say what I want to hear, and the house is filled with music. ... Just yesterday, I had the sound of birds calling...just quiet enough so that it sounded like they were outside. My wife loved it. Happy Wife... Happy Life.

So compact but the sound when playing music is amazing. Really nice to have in the bathroom when your getting ready for the day. Ask "Alexa" anything and she will probably have a good answer for you. Informative, fun, smart, just try it and you will be hooked.
