If you buy other devices like wireless switches/plugs that communicate with the echo you can do things like turn on your lamps or turn your tvs on. It's worth buying.

Works amazing for simple tasks

It's so nice to just tell Alexa what time I want to wake up, ask her what the weather forecast is, and whenever I want to listen to music I just say it. This little thing is so nice! You can't go wrong buying one for yourself!

Echo Dot Awesome

Don’t be fooled...it is awesome. The sound is unbelievable good, the size allows it to fit just about anywhere and it works perfect. Still can’t believe how great it works and how awesome it is.
