I purchased this for exactly what it does which is provide an ability to have something small and portable when traveling. The sound quality is good, especially for the price, and it is a better option than wearing headphones all the time.

This is my second Echo Dot. Easy to set up, easy to use. I love that I can connect the two so i have music in "stereo"! Its great going from one part of my house to the other, never missing a beat.

This echo dot, is both fun and functional. I have learned quite a few new things. It has everything. You can ask for music. To turn on or off your lights. You can even ask it to tell you a joke. Such a clever little thing.

Love my echo dot. I have purchased several and recently added this one to my home. Great for kitchen timers and alarms, Current weather and answering questions. I use it to play music often And look up recipes.

This Echo Dot is really easy to set up, and it's very convenient to use for setting timers, controlling smart light bulbs, and other handy "skills". The sound quality for music isn't bad, either. It's easy to add multiple devices to the same network. Yeah ... this is the 3rd Gen (the 4th Gen is out now), but it works just as well and tucks discretely out of the way.

I was fortunate enough to buy two of these when they were on sale. I love the Echo Dot. Just plug it in and tell Alexa to search for new devices. It’s that easy. I do wish you had an equalizer on it to adjust frequencies of the music that plays through it. At times it seems a little muffled, but overall it has good sound. I’ve been putting Alexa through the test and asking all kinds of weird questions to see what the answers are. It’s a lot of fun. Great for operating smart devices. It provides my news, my music, acts as my alarm, and reminds me things I need to do or buy, plus. so much more. It’s like having my own personal assistant in one little tiny device. If it only sounded like Alicia Vikander, I’d be extremely thrilled.

This is a great smart home speaker, if you are willing to invest in the switches, sockets, and other accessories. I love being able to turn on the lights outside just by speaking. Otherwise the speaker is good enough for light music.

Comes in handy with reflecting your television’s surround. Sort of trying to get a surround sound effect. Of course without the deep bass effect. Nevertheless, still a great product.

I had 3 all ready and bought another one for my carport. I love these. I have them throughout my home and use them from playing music to setting alarms to reminding myself to check if dinner is done cooking.

Great sound and sound feed back and connects to my fire tv and fire sticks with ease

Plugged in the Echo Dot, downloaded the app, not much set up and I was off and running. I use it mostly for IHeart Radio and the weather. If you want to have fun, ask Alexa "who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me." I had to laugh.

I have multiple Alexa products and this one was part of a package deal. The size is great and it works as the rest of the Alexa products work so the house is a little more connected. I would have paid for this product...well worth the 30 bucks they're asking

Got this free with a purchase of a tv. Its a great item. It learns your taste as you use it. The only down fall is that it only connects to one account at a time. So you will have to log out and in if you want to change accounts

I Love this Alexa for the price and its decent sound. not the best but is worth it. I usually keep it in the garage hooked up to an aux to a better sounding system, it has access to tune in which is a free radio app and plays my local radio stations or if you get the free amazon music trial that's good too. I also have several inside the house and they sync together to play the same thing like a cheap way to get sorround sound in your house it sounds nice.

I bought this for my visually disabled grandfather and it is perfect for what he needed it for. Alexa reads all his Kindle books to him, tells him the weather, the sound quality is pretty good for a speaker this size.

Part of the Amazon Alexa family. It's small and has decent sound for a small room. It does need to be plugged into an outlet in order to work.

I have several Dots in different rooms. The 3rd Gen has even better sound than the Gen 2 and it is prettier than the earlier generations too. Love having the option of listening to the same music in all rooms or a different song in each room.

Big improvement in sound and quality over Generation 2. Great buy at discounted price. We love Alexa with weather, ring doorbell compatability and the shopping list, just to name a few! We even tell her to change the Durect TV channel or adjust the volume!

These are great to spread around the house. Easy to use and setup and helps to control a host of smart things in your house. Speaker sounds great for music and for the price you cant go wrong.

I love my Echos they are perfect in my kids room. We use them as sound machines at night to help my kids sleep, a alarm in the morning, and music for after-school homework. My kids love asking Alexa questions and getting to know the weather every morning.
