3rd Generation is The Best

Make things hands free around the house

They work the lights and plays music for us from spotify. We like that when we are occupied with cooking or taking care of chores around the house, its worth the extra to have it do things for you. It’s not as intelligent though as initially thought in terms of how well it understands you due to the functionality limitations. Supposedly that list of possibilities are growing over time though.

The only reason I gave it 4 fours, its because it needs the display capability to integrate with things like Ring or Arlo. Hence, the reason I purchased the echo Show.

3rd gen Echo dot

In case of fall, or a problem, either my wife or I can call for help from any location in the house, or call for outside help. When we leave, entire system listens for breaking glass, or smoke detectors. We use the system to it's full capabilities, and the strategically located Dots are an integral part.
