A fun novelty, can be annoying.

When it works, its fun and convenient to turn on/off all your lights without having to get up. And if you have rgb bulbs you can do some fun things as well. But theres times where it will just decide to stop working and will say the bulbs aren't responding. Don't be fooled, the echo has decided to not work anymore and has to be unplugged and reset. Viola. Everything's good again. Also randomly beeps and crap during the night.

Does exactly what it says it does

Still, at this price you can't really go wrong. The only thing I don't like is that you can't change the Alexa voice. You can change her accent but that's all. I'm sure that will change soon but for now you're stuck with no voice options. It seems like such a simple thing. Word of caution: When you search for the app online don't let your browser redirect you to a third party. Mine did and I was instructed to call an 800 number. Then the guy told me Echo wouldn't work on my wifi until I installed some other products at a cost. I finally figured out I wasn't dealing with Amazon Echo.

Good Alexa device for price

It's Alex it works about as good as expected. Sound is okay for a small speaker but you get what you pay for.

Listens anytime you say it’s name, and sometimes when you don’t. Lots of useful features like Amazon notifications, check the weather without looking outside, set kitchen timers and alarms.
