Great product, easy to use. Speaker is much better than what you might expect for something so small, not to mention you can connect third party speakers if you desire. Ended up purchasing another one for another room.

Fun with Alexa. Didn’t think I was going to have as much entertainment with Alexa. I get my news, weather and best of all a joke every day. Real simple to set up and one of the other things I like the most about it is being able to play just about any music that I wish. It was definitely worth it. I would encourage anybody to give it a try.

Super handy I ask Alexa the time when I wake up rather than searching for my phone now. It has a great speaker and works really well I have no complaints.

I recently aquiered a dot and in am so happy I did. I love the ease of use and sound quality from this littlen speaker. I wish it could access YouTube Music but it is great for in the shower...

Nice nice nice ! Easy setup and very inexpensive! I paired my Echo with some of my home electronics and I can control them now with my voice. Nice sound too for a small speakers !

This was my first device with Alexa and it has worked well. Have purchased additional for other rooms in the house. Great for listening to music and doing announcements through all Echo Dots.

Surprisingly easy to set up and use. We use it mostly for playing music while in the kitchen, but it was easy to connect smart electrical plugs. Get the Samuel L Jackson voice!

I love this new 3rd generation echo dot. Speaker sounds great and I can connect other speakers to it too. I get to choose name for device and location for device as well. I have 3 of them now. Very helpful reminders.

All of the Amazon Alexa products have worked wonderfully. I was skeptical about the DOT, however the speaker is actually much better than I expected. Happy with this as a bedside speaker and alarm.

Fun product. Small and easy to use and set up. Works with TV and multiple outlet controls for lamps. Highly recommend.

We gave our son this Dot for his room. It is great -- he uses it for an alarm, to play music and for Alexa to help him with homework. I like to ring his room from downstairs - works like an intercom system with ours.

Definitely an improvement from the 1st generation. I like the size and it works with the Bluetooth light.. which was free with purchase..Great volume

Love this little guy. May be slightly difficult to set up, if you're not familiar with the Alexa app. Sounds great. Love the idea of connection multiple size Echo speakers. Wish it had a battery. Think they are available as a secondary purchase. If it did, I'd give 5 stars.

We have 3 of these dotted around the house, they are great for linking to the main Alexa account and makes our home a real smart home!

I bought 2 and it was worth the money plays really loud I like how Alexa does as you ask it’s not complicated to set up I just don’t like that it must always be plugged in in order to use it

I love this thing and use it all the time to play music, and to set alarms & timers. I have used it every day since I got it. I liked it so much I bought several more for Christmas gifts for my family and girlfriend.

Was never a big fan of the idea of a device always listening to what’s going on. But after using it a friends house to turn the lights on and off, my lazy butt was sold. Living in an older home without ceiling light/switches, we have to do with a lot of lamps. So smart plug and problem solved. One issue is that if you have multiple units as I do. In living room and in bed room. You can’t differentiate general commands. For example I can’t say lights on in bedroom as I do in living room because those were the first I set up. I had to name specific lights in bedroom. Like nightlight or tall lamp. Which after some searching I found is a common larger issue when using multiple units. But with one, no prob. Also make sure the device you are looking to connect to the echo(alexa) will do so directly and not through a hub. Made that mistake a few times... don’t always believe that “works with Alexa” means additional devices not need. Buyer beware. Speaker not that great either. Glad it came as free item. Wouldn’t pay for it. Considering the amount of information it’s collecting and selling. (Which is in the terms and condition FYI)

We enjoy our Dot and use it a lot for Amazon Music. This version is much nicer than the versions from years ago. It's design is more sleek and the speaker is a little better. It seems more durable.
