I love my echo dot, I use it to listen to music ask general questions, control other smart devices, play music, make phone calls, it’s amazing what that little thing can do!

The sound on this little Echo is excellent for its compact size. Perfect for the night stand or other smaller space, and Alexa on the Ech works so well, and does so much more than some of the other assistants.

This small speaker has a big sound. The price was affordable and the item was in stock. Another good purchase that I made at best buy. I brought 2 one for me and one for my sister. She loves it also

My family loves this!! It plays music we want, tells us the weather, where our package delivery is, answers question about every subject we have ask, turns a light on and off with the plug our son bought for us!

I use my Alexa at work as a portable speaker to play music (so I don't use it for the myriad of other things/features it offers). It is more than adequate for my needs. I like the small size.

super easy to use. Very versatile and useful. Built in games ar fun to play at parties. music playlsits, recipies - pretty much anything you need.

This 3rd Gen Alexa Dot has drastically improved since the 1st Gen of which I own. The speaker is much louder and better quality. Setup is straightforward and took less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend.

We have 3 of these dotted around the house, they are great for linking to the main Alexa account and makes our home a real smart home!

The 3rd generation echo dot is an excellent addition to the other Echo's around the house. It's small and can easily hide under a TV on a stand. It also has a nice sound coming from this compact speaker.

What can I say that hasn’t been said about these, it’s an Echo Dot! We have them in every room now and they’re integral to so many things. Listening to music (great depth and range for such a small device), using it as an alarm clock or for running multiple kitchen timers while cooking, controlling smart devices (Alexa turn the porch light on), ordering from Amazon…this list could go on forever! Still learning new features all the time, too. And if you’re worried about privacy…either stop doing things online that you shouldn’t be or just trade in your smartphone for a landline. ;)

I have one of these in almost every room. Set alarms, ask questions and play music. Just don’t ask Alexa is she’s part of Skynet cause she just shuts off without an answer

Slightly larger unit versus v2, but with much improved speakers/audio. I am not an audiophile, and have used both echo and echo dot. For the price, echo dot is fine for my use in both bedrooms and living rooms.

Bought as a gift and they love it. Easy to use and setup. Great buy at a great price. Sound is great also and the app that you have to download for setup is also easy to use.

It was a gift for a friend of mine and he loves it. Very small to carry around the house and office for him. Nice sound and with Alexa it is a valuable help for him!

I got one with the idea of it being a novelty. After having it awhile I found out it wasn’t just a toy. It’s an awesome unit, with functions?

I love my echo dot. I have four of them and they really help make my life easier. They can control almost everything, lights, locks TV, music, thermostat. It hears you almost all of the time and I've run into very few issues with it overall. I really couldn't ask for a more helpful device. It's even more handy when I found that I could get a battery base for it. The GGMM D3 base that I found lets me carry the alexa dot around pretty much anywhere. I love that I can take it into the bathroom with me and listen to music while I shower or take it outside and listen to music. That's really the only thing I think it was missing.

Easy to install and nice for security. Have added a second dot in the basement. It is nice to be able to play music on both. You do have to get her attent before you give command. Sometimes she does not understand and babbles. It is also nice to have with plugs and switches in your home that it will operate.

Great sound, easy to use. I’ve been recommending them to everyone I know since! We’d been using expensive portable speakers in each room and the sound doesn’t even compare!
