Great Virtual Assistant

I had other settings (reminders, tip of the day, inspirational daily quote) on the Echo that totally surprised her. She LOVED IT. So I bought her one to take home.

The sound quality is great and she can play songs for her daughter all day long. She’s already used it to check the weather and set timers, super easy. Great product!

A good novelty

Thought it would be good for him since he is in quarantine and is legally blind. After setting up the account, including some playlists, I shipped it to him. Unfortunately, I learned afterwards that I needed to be there to connect it to his wifi with my device. The IT guy at his facility connected it for him but he has limited functionality. Once the quarantine is lifted I should be able to correct that when I get up to see him. Nice idea but it needs a remote management capability.
