I bought multiple and placed them in different rooms. Since I bought multiple I can talk to people in other rooms through them. Tons of guns games and easy to set timers.

Smart, Portable and Sounds Great

Its sound quality is amazing considering its small size. I use it to query daily weather, stock market conditions, conversion factors, etc.

Great introduction to Alexa

Our first Echo Dot came free with a TV purchase. Initially, we thought that the freebie would be a waste. Now we have 4 smart speakers in our house. The sound is okay out of these but if you want to stream music, I would suggest investing a little bit more. Volume is okay but does get distorted if you try to turn it up.

He'll actually use them more than you think you will. So if you think why would I need that, think again they actually come in handy. And if anything you can always return it within the return period
