It was pretty easy to setup and not to hard to get the bulb to work by telling the dot to turn on/off the light and change the colors of the bulb light. The dot is small so you can place it just about anywhere. The sound quality isn't really good but you can understand what the dot is saying ok. It does more things than I was expecting. I was replacing the invoke which had excellent sound in comparison to the dot. The Invoke was discontinued so I need to replace it with another smart speaker and the Echo dot seems to work much better and is smarter than the Invoke but doesn't sound as good. I will probably buy a larger Echo at sometime.
