Frustration with radio signal quality in our kitchen led to the idea that an Echo Dot is a great radio replacement in a wi-fi environment. Now every nightstand has a Dot tucked behind a lamp or picture, ready to stream radio stations, podcasts or music, to give time and weather on command, to act as an alarm or reminder, to record things for a shopping list, etc. The speaker is not bad, and can easily be upgraded by connecting to better speakers with bluetooth or an audio cable. All that for about the price of a clock radio.

I bought this for my 95 year old mother, I was worried that she would be afraid to use it. But my mother told me this was the best thing anyone gotten her, I told her what I use my for and she said that would come in handy. She uses it when her TV goes off air due to the weather, she knows to ask for the current weather in her area. Also there are times that she wants to spell a word an had to look it up in the dictionary and she can not see the small print due to her eye site. I showed her how to ask Alexa, she loves that and I showed her how to use it as a reminder. Best present ever, that makes me happy knowing that it can help her. Even at the age of 95, this unit can come in handy. I am going to buy another one for my upstairs.

It came with out TV, it works great to ask for the weather, play music on Spotify and hands-free TV.

This is an awesome speaker if you want just volume (NO BASS). This is a very very small little echo that is meant to fit anywhere in your house. This speaker definitely has some volume to it but absolutely not bass what so ever. I would definitely give this little guy a 5 star but the reason I'm not is the bass. With that complete lack of bass, the songs that you play sound a little werid. It doesn't sound like a phone playing a song with no bass, on this little guy, it sounds like something is missing and it sounds werid. Otherwise, if you can get past that werid sounding music, then this is for you. Definitely good for travel trailers. I just wish that gap wasn't there in the music. (What I mean by gap is no bass)

I ordered the Ring Door Bell Pro and Chime Pro Bundle. Also order installation of same. Initial product did not work. Had to reorder. Works fine now.

Not bad love I can ask almost anything. Sometimes when WIFi is not available and I get it back it takes a day or two for it to connect back.
