Works with Ring devices, smart plugs and smart lights switches, and even smart thermostats. Prime Music members can listen to music, raise or lower the volume with simple voice commands. WiFi is required to control home automation.

This was my first time using Alexa and this device works exactly as I had hoped it would. Its in my bedroom, but with my bedroom door open it can hear me down the hallway. I will be buying another one of these to put in my kitchen for sure.
