If you want to have it in a larger space I recommend getting the speakers to go with it so it is louder.

I love my Alexa!!

It plays music, can be used as an alarm clock, use it for quick reminder to check your artichokes when cooking, or to ask what happened today in 1822. And its voice activated. Love it. Love it. If you can find a really good deal on one then I can maybe see buying one. But if your interested in buying a Alexa assistant I'd definitely recommend buying a medel or two above this one because the sound qualify isn't that good. It does get loud, but way too muffled. Every time I listen to it all i can think about is "man, if this thing sounded better it would be great".
