If you can find a really good deal on one then I can maybe see buying one. But if your interested in buying a Alexa assistant I'd definitely recommend buying a medel or two above this one because the sound qualify isn't that good. It does get loud, but way too muffled. Every time I listen to it all i can think about is "man, if this thing sounded better it would be great".

Just very handy to have around

You can ask questions which will most often give a correct answer, tell you the time, weather, set timer, set morning alarm. This device can do too many things to mention here. As far as the value, if you can get it on a sale...then the value is great.

We love it as an intercom system. The kids are always asking Alexa for information. My wife's favorite use is the shopping list feature. Get them on sale during the holidays or Amazon prime day.
