This device is pretty good as a tim3r, alarm, to listen to music or hear some alexa jokes. You can also control your lights with this device as long as you have the alexa outlet.

I love the echo dot the only down fall was it has to stay plugged in, in order for it to work. Besides that i love everything it can do.

Had original Eco Dot. The new one sounds much fuller and louder, but not as responsive as old one, need to repeat request several times.

It struggles to understand me but first generation does well. It cuts and small great for living space. Hopefully will grow a community

Got this for free when I bought a FireTV during Black Friday. Drawback is that it isn’t really compatible with Apple Music

The audio quality has improved dramatically since the 2nd gen version! You can now listen to music with depth! All this and at the same price as the 2nd gen. I am replacing all of my 2nd gen units with this one! The only negative is the proprietary charging cable. It no longer uses a standard Micro-USB cable.

Nice that you can talk to Alexa and tell her what you want. Sound could be better.

It actually sounds better than expected. Love it for the fact I got it for free for spending a certain amount.

I was looking for an alarm clock and this is perfect just tell Alexa set time. Plus it's great for music. I don't mess with it much but it can do so so much more. I'm glad I bought it!

It’s a great speaker very useful everyone in the house loves to use it we all get time to play music or ask Alexa questions it is really easy to use and portable to take anywhere

I use a regular Amazon Alexa for my living room and this Amazon dot for my bedroom, Limited reach, good for small rooms.

Alexa makes doing many things much easier. Streaming music, checking the weather, monitoring shipments, home automation, and getting information are examples. Alexa does not always understand what you say and has limited abilities but is well worth having. The speaker sounds fairly good for its small size. I purchased an extended warranty because of the Dot's short coverage. Although Amazon claims to record only a few minutes of conversation and only transmit over the Internet when when the light ring is on, users report receiving advertisements shortly after discussing product brands. I leave the microphone on except occasionally when I do not want Amazon hearing what I am saying.

Love this product!!! This is handy.. works with all our lights, TV and other appliances.. Not just that, it saves me time to browse in the internet to look for news, weather, game stats and much more!!!

Alexa is wonderful!! It speaks English and Spanish! My family has one in each room and a echo show in the living room,its great for reminding us something we forget on the spot so wherever I'm at the house I let alexa know and tells me from my phone when I'm out haha

Great product, works well and integrates with my existing units very well. I feel that this is a must have for any home. This product will never go out of style. Highly recommend.

Decent speaker, does the things you would expect. Don't love that it is "always on", but that is how it works.

This Echo dot is my first voice device. It is simple to setup and control. Voice is clear and responses to command instantly. Like it.

Enjoy the visual clock display and the sound is great. Overall happy with this product. Device was simple to install and is easy to use/access via the app as well.
