I use a regular Amazon Alexa for my living room and this Amazon dot for my bedroom, Limited reach, good for small rooms.

I am still learning concerning the Echo Dot, but the things that I have learned is going very well. I have been told that this does a lot of things. To get something like this as a gift was great.

I loved how well it worked with my sons anazon fire tablet it also worked great with ny iphone playing songs and telling me what i wanted to hear only downside is its not that loud

Very easy to use. Set up quick and easy. Have been asking Alexa different questions all day! Especially the one about Santa being who we say he is. “I’m not sure but someone has been eating my cookies.”

Perfect if you have a regular echo or echo show and it's set up in one room the dot is perfect for helping you control smart devices even when out of range for the primary device

I love the echo dot the only down fall was it has to stay plugged in, in order for it to work. Besides that i love everything it can do.

Had original Eco Dot. The new one sounds much fuller and louder, but not as responsive as old one, need to repeat request several times.

It struggles to understand me but first generation does well. It cuts and small great for living space. Hopefully will grow a community

The audio quality has improved dramatically since the 2nd gen version! You can now listen to music with depth! All this and at the same price as the 2nd gen. I am replacing all of my 2nd gen units with this one! The only negative is the proprietary charging cable. It no longer uses a standard Micro-USB cable.

Alexa makes doing many things much easier. Streaming music, checking the weather, monitoring shipments, home automation, and getting information are examples. Alexa does not always understand what you say and has limited abilities but is well worth having. The speaker sounds fairly good for its small size. I purchased an extended warranty because of the Dot's short coverage. Although Amazon claims to record only a few minutes of conversation and only transmit over the Internet when when the light ring is on, users report receiving advertisements shortly after discussing product brands. I leave the microphone on except occasionally when I do not want Amazon hearing what I am saying.

Good tool to listen to the music, news, check weather.... A lot of options to use it. Highly recommended.

Bought this 2nd one for the bedroom. Works just as well as my 1st one. The new one looks better though.

Overall this speaker is great….I put it into our kitchen while I’m cooking and listen away

Amazon Echo Dot is ubiquitous at this point in time - but my first experience. Alex app is easy to navigate, unit sets up in minutes, everything works as intended and hoped.

Love this product!!! This is handy.. works with all our lights, TV and other appliances.. Not just that, it saves me time to browse in the internet to look for news, weather, game stats and much more!!!

Make sure you have a great internet connection and let the echo dot do the rest. very easy to set up, does not take up a lot of space at all. Plug and play, just that simple.

This Echo dot is my first voice device. It is simple to setup and control. Voice is clear and responses to command instantly. Like it.

Perfect for my child's room. The alarm is perfect and having a visible clock is ideal. It's small enough to not take up a lot of space and the sound quality is impeccable.
