This free addition to the Smart TV was the icing on the cake for my niece! She was excited about the TV, but even more elated about the Echo Dot! She said that she'd wanted one for a while and I was able to get it for her. Thanks to Best Buy!!

This was the 3rd Echo Dot (3rd generation) for our family, and it didn’t turn out well due to it not connecting to our WiFi. We had to return it and get the newer (4th generation) Dot as a replacement. The new one has been trouble free and works as expected!

Being home in the house 24 hrs a day 7 days a week because of a killer virus can get a little nerve racking . Having a dot with Alexia changes all that. Alexia does everything & is the perfect companion. When this is all over I am sure she will be as important to me as ever!!

Now that it's set up it's working great. It's a little finicky enabling apps with your preferences. Sounds and Looks great too!

We have the previous version and like it a lot. This is a good upgrade. Can do additional things and connectivity. Really nice.

A good reliable speaker. Does crack just the slightest when at about 50% but otherwise a good speaker.

My son loves it and he kept losing his tv remote so now I don’t have to buy him one because he just controls his tv with Alexa. It was free with another purchase so worth it in that way.

Love hearing music in more locations in my house! Easy to program and use. I especially like that I can easily raise and lower the volume through my Alexa app.

So I tend to like the echo shows a lot more. I'm not sure though. I believe the echo shows just have better sound. And I've always had issues with the voice recognition and Alexa understanding me with these Echo dots compared to the Echoes Shadows. Of course, he actually shows I still have an issue with I'm just hoping that Amazon really works on. Updating and upgrading their Alexa.

I like the 2 nd gen one so this is a step up but not spectacular. I would recommend the echos the just have a specific purpose.

For the size, the speaker is good. Word recognition is ok, but sometimes questions need to be repeated. Good app compatibility.

Great for entertaining company with music. Still haven't used it to its full potential.
