If you’re already familiar with the older echo dot, the new gen 3 is pretty much the same as gen 2 with better speaker and mic.

Better than the google home Alexa does a lot more and without being set up through confusing apps very easy to use

While the 3gen Dot is not powered by USB, the more powerful power supply is probably responsible for the improved sound

Purchased for my mom who is legally blind. She had trouble writing/reading her grocery list. Now she adds items on Alexa and they come to my smart phone. Also gets time and weather. Just added reminders of her doctor appts. Still finding ways to use Alexa to make her life easier.

nice little speakers great for small rooms like the way it sounds and the commands are responsive

first smart device and I like playing around with it. alarms are cool and waking up with the news is really cool. she mostly just listens to me but sometimes it plays when someone else talks.

Nice small device that works well but speaker is not great. Need to pair it with a speaker for serious listening.

Ez product to work with. Alexa knows about 20% of questions asked but music quality is good so that's all it's used for.

Echo is kind of like Apple for me. All Apple stuff works together no question. The same with Echo. I love the package notifications, being able to order verbally, music, etc. plus, having multiple units gives you a bit of an intercom system through the house!

Easy to format with other electronic devices in home, specifically my tv. works wonder sound of the voice feature.

I got this in a package with my Ring Doorbell, and I’m liking it. Speaker is small (as expected), but overall it does the job!

Have the Alexa show downstairs and put this upstairs to have additional reach and use upstairs works good.

I thought I was going to have issues at night with the display being bright and messing with my sleep but I was wrong ! It has a light sensor and it doesn’t bother me at all. Hopefully they will come out with different color options

Good overall performance for compact design. Can put in a wide variety of places without taking up much space.

The hole family is having a good time with Alexa, it works very nice, able to get a lot of information without the use of the mobile or computer. I'm trying to get accessories to connect with it. Also will buy one more as it nice to have one in the bedroom and another one in the living room/kitchen.

Bought this model with the clock specially to replace my old clock radio that still had a CD player as it was taking up too much space on my night stand. This works exactly as intended. I use it for my morning alarms and listening to news while I get ready for work in the mornings. I like using the voice controls to turn my bedroom lights on and off once I am in bed so I don't have to get up once I'm comfortable. This little device also has plenty of volume for casual music listening in the bedroom. I know there are many other great features I have yet to take advantage of but this works exactly as I want it to.
