Good and compact echo dot amazes as usual with ease of use and flexibility

Most of my amazon devices have been discounted since they were bought during promotions. I may not have them otherwise but and glad I do. Frequently use the echoes as intercoms around the house and to sync up the music in multiple rooms when guests are over.

It's easy to use and isn't hideous to look at. I have purchased worse items.

I like it because it helps me do a lot of things like turn off my lights and play my playlist from my phone and while doing that i can use my phone for other audio purposes

Good product. We ask questions all the time and most music is on here as well.

works great. nice sounds and uses small electric to run. Love it. Plays many many free stations.

Purchased as a 2nd Alexa. Easy to set up. Works well most of the time with a few glitches on the 3rd party integrations.

I got this in a package with my Ring Doorbell, and I’m liking it. Speaker is small (as expected), but overall it does the job!

i bought about 5 of these, they work really well for acting as a security system, always listening. if they hear glass break or noises when you activate your security settings, they will alert you to your cell phone. Pretty nice

Echo dot has good functionality and I brought this at discount price which is additional bonus.

The hole family is having a good time with Alexa, it works very nice, able to get a lot of information without the use of the mobile or computer. I'm trying to get accessories to connect with it. Also will buy one more as it nice to have one in the bedroom and another one in the living room/kitchen.

So far, so good. It works great with the ring, gives me all my door notifications and information that I want when I want it.

Works as expected and is staying connected to my WiFi consistently. Speaker is great for background music and I love the look compared to the older generations which seemed too plasticy.

alexa seems to glitch out a lot. Not sure if it's just this device or if it's the actual software that's the issue but it's not exactly as reliable as I had hoped. When I tell alexa to pause, it either doesn't or takes a full minute to do so.. Doesn't always get what I ask for right either but she has turning lights on and off down to a science. lol

I have Echo/Alexa dots in four rooms. They're all different, even the two identical ones I bought at the same time at the same place. This latest one, the one I'm reviewing here, is stupid. I am serious. I have one in my living room and it is able to answer basic questions, play songs, etc., with no problems. This one is in the next room (I do not have them synced) and it doesn't seem to understand what any of us are saying without one of us having to repeat it, it sometimes pops on by itself (yes, really), and it doesn't take direction well. For example, with the one in the living room, when one of us says, "Alexa, stop," it shuts down. This newer one doesn't seem to understand we want it to be quiet until we shout at it to shut up. And yes, it's in an open area with excellent wi-fi. I don't know why the Alexa/Echo/Whatever-you-want-to-call-them are so different, but each one has a different "personality" and very different information (which seems strange) and capabilities. For the price, however, all of them have been worth it.

This echo is just as portable as the previous editions but it crisp and clear and fits in perfectly in decor. Easy enough to take from room to room or outside. Great purchase!

The set up is very easy. When getting it to learn my voice it seemed to glitch on each sentence, and if I didnt immediately respond it would cancel out. After I figured that out it was easy to get to learn my voice. But I dont really see much use for it. It would have been cool to connect to my xbox and tv to turn on but it constantly says it cant do that. Personally not worth it for me.
