If it were not for the fact that this came free with a TV I would have never considered buying one of these things. I find it quite useful but at the same time I do not want to be too dependent on one of these things, call me old school. Since its tied to the internet it knows a lot of things, scary when you think about it.

Great potential for automation

If you can take full advantage of the automation it seems like it will be a nice thing to have. My kids love it. They’ve already managed to get me an unwanted subscription to amazon music that I’ll have to remember to cancel.

Right after I got it, I bought another one two days later. There isn't a whole lot Alexa can't do. I'm still learning all the ins and outs of it. Once you start using "her" you won't be able to stop
