It is what you would expect, sound is better than Previous generation speakers.

Great product, was a gift to my son and he loves it, uses it all the time.

It is slower when responding to your requests some times have had to ask again and is then says okay.

What can I say about Amazon Echo Dot third generation smart speaker with Alexa.? The answer is you can’t go wrong it’s more convenient you can use it as an alarm you can ask him the weather you can ask her what time it is etc.

I love this for setting an alarm in the morning and for finding out the weather conditions before I leave in the morning. Speaker is very good quality.

Check the weather, sports score or anything you want. Pair them together with another dot for stereo sound. Best part is the price. Can’t be beat.

I had bought several of these already, but when i bought one cor my husband for his birthday, he was reluctant to use it. However, he absolutely loves it now!

Good voice recognition and very practical uses right out of the box

Tell Alexa to play "everywhere" and your dots will play music in sync all over the house. What fun!!

Must admit I was not going to use one of these but I purchased and finally set up and I LOVE it!!! Even my wife likes and uses. We are still discovering ways to use but so far we are really enjoying. I control music and light so far and will continue to add processes.

Easy to set up. Useful gadget. But then, after a few days the sound went bad, breaking up, all static. Would not clear up. So it was returned. I assume I just got a bad one. I might try the Dot again, but I prefer the Echo Plus (2nd Generation). Better sound, and I like the built in smart home hub.

A couple of years ago we won a Google home, and it was a lot of fun. We got three of the Google Minis to go with it. Running Pandora through it worked okay, and we were happy for the most part, though we had to unplug and reboot a couple of times because Google would get weird. It randomly started playing music, once in the middle of the night. Last Black Friday the Echo Dots were on a fabulous sale so we decided to see if they worked better. We are happier with out Echo Dots than the Google, and have sprung for Prime Music Unlimited as well. We also love the notifications. Today I noticed our Echo had the green Notification ring going and asked for our notifications and Alexa told us our Prime delivery had come a day early. Without that notification we might not have brought our package in before someone else stole it. We’re happier with our Echos, we went back for 2 more and have them all over the house.
