These echo dots are pretty amazing little speakers. I was surprised at the rich, quality sound. I think I even like it better than some of the more expensive models I have. And they are less obtrusive. This one sits on a shelf where you'd barely notice it. This one is a win for me!

Easy to setup, fun to use. Love the jokes about fun questions. Programmers have a sense of a nerdy humor. Works great with smart plugs.

The echo dot is easy to use & loud! I don’t like app to use but with Alexa I just speak & tell her what to do.

I purchased the Echo Dot hoping it would allow me to hear my cell phone ring when I’m in my basement and have left the phone upstairs. That didn’t work out but it has other useful features. It still makes calls, plays music or gives me the news and with a smart bulb it lights up my laundry room. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

This is my second Amazon Echo Dot. The sound quality and design are noticeably better than the previous generations.

The sound is great for its size. It can get pretty loud but the bass is definitely lacking. The bass isn't god awful but it just isn't there

I’m an Apple fan having iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, MacBook, so I never though to try these amazon smart speakers until I bought one for a gift. This little speaker is what Apple should be doing! Love this little speaker. In my little office room sounds better than good enough and Alexa puts Siri to shame. And I still haven’t even bought any smart plugs or smart lights but when I do this thing it’s gonna be at a different level. I plan to buy more speakers soon for most rooms of my house. I definitely recommend this eco dot 3rd gen!!

Really happy with the quality of sound. I like the new look. Added Echo to my upstairs so I could have my girl Alexa whenever I needed her.

I've been resisting the purchase of a smart speaker for a long time, thinking I wouldn't need anything like this. I got this as part of a bundle that I bought for myself for Christmas, and surprisingly I really like it. For a small speaker, the sound is really good, and I like the voice activation features. I can ask Alexa things that I would normally look up myself (weather, sports scores, traffic) and it's great to just be able to speak a question and get the information while not having to stop to look for it.

The Echo Dot is a must! Initially I wasn't really sure what to expect from this little device, but since purchasing it, it has been nothing more than a pleasant surprise. From getting instant weather reports every morning at wakeup, to evening reminders, to hands free calling to security, and endless more features, I'm absolutely spoiled and can't imagine going without. I haven't had any technical issues with the device and it's been very easy to use in general. Definitely recommend.
