These little guys are inexpensive and quite powerful and useful. I have one tucked away on each of the 3 levels in the house. It's great for music, tracking your grocery lists, and I've connected to Eufy video doorbell and they all chime when the doorbell is pressed -- so I can easily hear from anywhere in the house. I actually like this 3rd generation flat design versus that big ball design for 4th Gen. And, the sound is good enough!

I love to use it to talk to people in other rooms in the house.can call people and make play list.I even have it set up to my a.c.

While the concept behind the 3rd gen echo is the same as the first simple improvements of the speakers and design make it worth it.

I purchased the Echo Dot hoping it would allow me to hear my cell phone ring when I’m in my basement and have left the phone upstairs. That didn’t work out but it has other useful features. It still makes calls, plays music or gives me the news and with a smart bulb it lights up my laundry room. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Use this for everything. From making grocery lists, to listen to music, to getting the weather, and to finding out things.

First time getting into an Alexa device for the on sale price of 18.99 you can’t go wrong definitely will be upgrading to a nicer model in the future . Excellent for voice control of smart bulbs TVs consoles etc

Very fun item to have it was bonus for purchasing a tv from here also. You must download an app to have the features work and the sound quality is pretty nice considering how small it it.
