Love this updated version! Love the design and the sound quality is fantastic for such a small speaker!

Easy to use my Amazon Echo. Was easy to set up. Can answer almost any question and plays your favorite music.

I bought an Echo Show 8 (Sandstone) for my Mom for Xmas, then bought an Echo Dot gen 3 (Charcoal) and now am Echo Show 8 (Charcoal) for myself! This device is amazing, especially if you're really into listening to music! Alexa is something special and her AI is pretty advanced. The sound is very clear and I highly recommend to all ages. You won't regret it!!!

This is an Amazon devise. I use Amazon?Alexa more than I use Google and I am not an apple user in most instances. I think this works perfectly for what it is and can be expected from a small device. We picked this particular one up for our cottage/cabin and its been performing flawlessly up there. Speaker works well, microphone hears us from a room or two away (open floor plan) and the color is a nice charcoal. We are very pleased with this unit for the money.

I enjoy the echo dots. I have them throughout my house. Though sometimes she may not appropriately hear my commands, Alexa gets the job done. I use her to answer questions I need an answer to, weather, turn on my various devices throughout my house. She is connected to my door and I can command her to open and close the door. I can also use her to turn on my thermostat to what ever temperature I like.

Love the echo dot! Small, yet packs a lot of sound and doesn’t take up much space. Recommend!

Extremely easy setup, very handy to use as alarm clock.

This is great for working with my wifi plug and my lamp. Also helps me set alarms and listen to music.

This is a nice upgrade from the 2nd generation echo dot. It’s a little bigger and it’s louder. It’s nice looking as well.

Absolutely love this! I love that i can just say what i want it to play and can have music playing while im doing things and not have to physically do anything.

I give this item five stars , first because it was cheap when getting it and it’s honestly a good product even though I haven’t really figured out or tried all the features it can have . But yea recommend it came the next day and it was handled with care . This product came with a free wifi light bulb which I seen the price it $14 something dollars but I got it for free so I definitely recommend this Alexa , check it out

Purchased to put in the office after buying the 1st generation. Does not take up much room and quality is very good

This little speaker is truly of great value. I love the voice command I just say “hey Alexa” and it listens. It is quick to respond and start playing your requested music or answer your questions. I have mine synchronized to two other Alexa speakers so when I play music it plays throughout the house. The sound quality is excellent. I would recommend this for any household and it makes a great inexpensive gift!

I like having these around the house. I can message or talk to the kids from work, set an alarm using Alexa, the kids can ask whatever to do their homework with, how to spell etc. Alerts us when a package arrives cause UPS never knocks or rings the doorbell. Very useful! Best Buy gave one of these free too with a purchsase!

I've had the 2nd gen dot for a while in my home and just replaced it with two new 3rd gen dots. one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The device itself is more aesthetically pleasing and the speaker on this one is way better but my only complaint I suppose is that they have seemed to be a lot more prone to not working right than the last one I had. At times, she may not hear the wake word, other times shes way to sensitive. The follow-up command seems buggy, sometimes working and at other times not. Things she used to be able to control she cannot "communicate with" Keep in mind that these issues seem sporadic, sometimes non-existent and then giving trouble the next. These things could potentially be fixed in future updates though. Just a comparison of mine from my 2nd gen to my new 3rd gens.
