Purchased for my mother for mother's day and she absolutely loves it! Being able to play music and turn on lights by voice is what she needed. I think she will be amazed of all the different things she will be able to do with the dot.

I purchased Echo Show 5 and decided that it would be a good idea to have another Echo in another room for Ring alerts. I sleep even better now that motion detection announcements can be easily hear at night. Echo Dot 3rd generation is well worth the purchase.

great little speaker. sounds ok and was a good purchase for the price. bought this for my mom.

Has very good Mic pickup and louder than expected sound. BASS is lacking a bit, but it has enough to sound above average.

The 3rd Gen sounds way better than the last Gen. Fuller sound. Slightly bigger though. The cloth exterior looks better.

Great device my family and i love using it! I have a echo show in family area so i got this for my son's room and he didn't think he would use it but he does all the time.

I bought one for my daughter and one for my wife. I am amazed at the capability of this little unit. My daughter and wife daily show me some new feature. I really don't know anything about this thing, but I can tell you, it is easy and truly enjoyable. My family loves it.

I have one In Every room of the house. They are perfect to communicate around the house from a distance ie: dinner is ready. We use them for tons of things alarms, reminders, questions you would normally google, solve a quick work related math equation etc.

I wanted one a few months ago and my wife didn't want to get, she saw it on sale for $25.00 right after xmas and picked up. Brought it home and it great to add grocery list to my phone which make it easy when going shopping, I can play music and get answer to question.

Great purchase brought it around Christmas for about 14 dollars. Have not had any problems connects to all products accessories that I have…love

Got this for free after buying a Ring security system and honestly, didn’t want it or think that I needed it. The more I use it, the more I like it. Just ordered a 4th gen Echo dot today. It’s great for playing music and we plan on getting a few more to use an an intercom system too. Every once in a while it doesn’t quite recognize what you say but I think it gets better as it learns your voice. Kids love it too!

Needed another Echo Dot in order to have it control the lights in all my rooms, and it's been a great purchase. Can't complain. There's a newer more expensive one, but this one does the job and there's no need to spend the money.

Love this little device. The tech technology is just awesome. Anything I need from music playlist; the time; sports scores etc; are only a request away. Great value for the price!

These have been great so far. Got them for the kids to use for several reasons. Now they can listen to their own music (without having to steal my wife’s phone), set alarms/reminders for schoolwork and appointments, and have an alarm clock. These are easy to set up and easy to use.

I have 3 of these and use them everyday. The sound very good for their size. I have not had any connectivity issues unless my wireless is already having trouble. You can do a lot with these devices when you check into the app.

I have 3 Echo Dots throughout my house and I’m usually satisfied with her answers. Sometimes she doesn’t have the answers but I mostly use it for the weather and my grandchildren always ask for songs to sing along and dance. Definitely a keeper.

Love this echo dot. It comes in handy to keep in every room. It's easy to link to previous compatible devices in my home, such as the echo show. The kids love it! I love that I can use it as an intercom to communicate in whatever room it is in.

Had the first generation, and enjoyed for years. This device has a lot more options and advantages. Their is not a day that we don’t use it for “question of the day” and reminders. ie. “Give dogs their pills at 9:00 am and pm each day, meetings, appointments, special occasions, etc.

Great company for my older parents. It gives them the independence and ease to look up the weather, find out business hours, put music and so much more.

The echo dot 3rd generation is great because for such a small speaker it sounds clear and loud, much better than older models, and the options to grow with it are huge. Highly recommend getting some for your house, especially when Best Buy has promotions on these.
