We’ve never owned a device like this. It’s great in the kitchen! Play music while I cook, have Alexa set multiple timers and my kids who never get to go anywhere due to Covid played games with her for over an hour last night!

Love that this Echo Dot will respond to ANY voice, though you can still add your own to make some responses quicker perhaps...though we've never had any problems with "Alexa" understanding anyone's voice commands in my home.

I was enjoying the free with purchase of TV, echo dot, one downfall is that I use a hotspot and take it with me and that disconnects the dot. When the hotspot is back at the house it doesn't automatically reconnect :( so it tends to be easier to use my laptop rather than reconnect the internet to the dot.

This is the best Echo Dot yet. Great sound quality. We don’t use ours for music, so we don’t need it to fill the room, but for a kitchen Echo, it’s perfect. Better yet, if you can get it free like we did with the purchase of one of many things, it’s even better.

When I feel like listening to music all I have to do is ask Alexa to play my favorites for me. Also very convenient in turning off my LED lights from a distance. Loved this so much I bought 3 more for my family members!

Bought this as a Christmas grab gift. My mom had won it and hooked it up and hasn’t stopped using it. My mom and dad love it because they can just talk and Alexa does what it’s asked to do. I would highly recommend this gift for everyone!

upgraded from my gen1. enjoy the new color schemes and improved sound quality. Use mainly for playing music from Spotify or Pandora, and for setting timers. Also works to turn my smart bulbs off and on. Great deal for under $20

I have several of these around my house to access my various connected devices, primarily lights. If you are an audiophile, the speaker quality might leave something to be desired, but for everyday use in controlling connected devices and playing music and news - they work very well.

We got the Echo Dot free with the purchase of a ring camera. This is not something we would have purchased, but am happy that we have. Easy to set up and use. Purchased an additional Echo Dot to put on our lower level. Would recommend for anyone.

A very useful and fun electronic part of my family room. My grand children love it for games and music. It has so many things you can do with it.

With a little setup they worked great right out of the box! We have three now and can play music all over the house as well as a lot of other services. Very easy to set up from the app. Regular price is a bit high so catch them on sale.

Alexa is amazing and compatible devices are becoming addicting! I've now bought more than 8 compatible devices and looking to pick up another alexa or 2 for the house once they're in-stock again.

Received the 3rd generation Echo Dot as a freebie when getting the Nest doorbell. I am already a big fan of the Echo products. This is the first 3rd generation Dot and find it a bit more attractive but the sound is much better than the earlier models.

Bought these for kid's Christmas presents. They're in their rooms, working great and they are enjoying them. They use them every night to sleep with, using lullaby or soft music. They also like talking to Alexa. Asking v as Rios questions from time to time.

This was a free gift with another purchase. We have had more fun than expected playing Alexa’s games, trivia, listening to stories, ambient sounds. We can ask questions like one would ask Siri. And the vast expanse of free music is more than expected. Great gift!

Great price and sound it does.not follow you around like the one with screen's there a wast of money unless your trying to keep up with the jones family.

Started a smart room soon to be house and sonfsr this has been good syncing lights and sleakers and other devices seamlessly. Will buy more for other rooms.

I actually love this product it was easy and a breeze to setup it took about 5 minuts by the way and I even set it up from my iphone 7 plus it was easy. You can say alexa turn off your lights and you can say alexa play pandora radio.
