I absolutely love it. It plays music, answers questions, tells you the time, gives you cooking conversions, sets alarms and tells you jokes and much much more! I do find myself yelling at her sometimes but she is very helpful!!!

I could not believe how easy it was to set up and use. Never thought I would be a person talking to a “robot “ but love getting weather reports, jokes, etc. from Alexa.

I bought one for my husband for Christmas, he loved it so much that we bought 2 more. We've played games with it, with the dot buttons, ask questions, listen to music and are also buying more smart plugs and accessories to go with it.

We love our Alexa. This one sounds the best compared to 1st and 2nd gen. I have it in the kitchen and play music from it often while cooking. Almost never does she think I’m talking to her like the other ones do.

I use this product everyday and I love it. I would absolutely buy again.

The novelty of this digital assistant was pretty cool for awhile. It operated flawlessly too. I ended up ditching it though because privacy is a major value for me and I didn't want a perpetual audience.

Great hands-free product and ability to set timers, along with different kinds of notifications, as well as playing music, podcasts, and information retrieval.

I like this Echo dot just fine, but think it induces us to a sedentary life style. I use it sparingly, but I can see that it would be a wonderful device for those who have mobility problems. It is a very attractive device that does not distract from any room setting. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who has mobility problems, and even to others who just love playing with gadgets, like myself!

We have Alexa set up to control the lights and TV, generally works well. I love having my music playing in the whole house with different Echo devices in each room.

I bought 2 of these as they were having a special at Christmas time. It is fun having this small Alexa. She reminds me of things on my Calendar and tells me that a package has arrived. And plays music whenever I ask.

We use these across the country to stay easily connected. The DOTs are super simple to setup, as easy to use as asking a question, and useful for reminders and alarms. Alexa's uses are almost infinite and those uses grow in number each day.

Love these little Alexis! They are small enough to not get in the way but the functionality is great. Bought one for each of my daughters and they love it! The bonus was they each came with an extra lightbulb.

This was my first echo dot, I purchased this because my Ecobee couldn’t do everything the dot could. It connects to my Bluetooth sound bar, controls lights and answers me when I have a question. Every morning I get an update and have set many reminders

I like the fact that I can listen to music without having to have a big radio. However I didn't realize that I would have to subscribe to amazon music to be able to pick what songs I wanted to listen to but listening to just the plain radio is free.

Works great, along with all the echo products we have around the house. Scares the living ‘you know what’ out of me when she wants to update herself at 3 AM unknowingly.

Fantastic sound for such a small package, I’ve got several of these around the house and together they make the sound of huge speakers without me huge price!

These are great for gifts! Easy to use! My mom loves hers and she’s in her 80’s

Purchased to replace a second generation Dot that has gone a bit flaky with WIFI. The sound is MUCH better, although I won’t be replacing my other Gen 2 Dots for this reason alone. However, it is worth spending the extra $10 to get this latest version.

Always wanted one of these. Now that amazon has redesigned this new generation, it makes it even more appealing. I am able to control my Hue lights and smart plug connected to my Christmas tree but also get information, time etc. I highly recommend it.

Now a days, who isn’t on their phone? Pretty much everyone is. Alexa helps you do things like remind you to do soemthing, can answer calls, send text messages, even turn off the light for you (if you have the light plug in). Who doesn’t want all that?!
