Finally they added some bass. Sounds good and easy to interact with.

I already have one and so setup was easy. Only issue I have is linking my phone to Alexa. Says i already have a phone set up with Amazon. Wants me to call in. Should have an easier way to connect your phone. Still five stars

Having fun setting up the whole smart home thing and she’s a good reminder for us we already use her for groceries and everything in between

I use this to turn my tv on and off and listen to the tv in my office. Very easy to use and pics up your voice great. Sounds pretty good for how small it is.

THIS IS MY 3RD AMAZON ECHO DOT. HAVE ONE IN THE KITCHEN, ONE IN THE BEDROOM AND THIS ONE IN THE LIVING ROOM. USE THEM MOSTLY TO LISTEN TO MUSIC ON SIRIUS XM.

The 3rd Generation Echo Dot is fun to use, helpful especially when my hands are full sits unobtrusively out of the way. The sound quality from such a small speaker is very good. I look forward to having one in every room.

great little speaker that works well with smart lights. i like how it connects to your amazon prime account and plays music from what you already like. setting up smart lights with this is very easy even with multiple rooms. highly recommend if you are thinking about getting smart wifi lights but dont want to invest a lot of money for something you arent sure if youll like.

After owning generation 1 and 2 I took them both back the same day but this 3rd generation Is a keeper. When you pull it out of the Box it is heavy and well made plus looks a lot better and the speaker is great for just a dot.

This was a gift. Didn't think I would like it but now I use it all the time. It is my alarm in the morning and it gives me the day's weather as soon as I turn off the alarm.

Love my echo dot so much that I have bought more to put throughout my house. It makes listening to music so easy and convenient, not to mention controlling things in my house is easy too!

I’ve been using this with the smart plugs and it’s amazing. It will tell me all the weather and traffic conditions when I start off my day and will shut down the lights without having to go to each switch and turning it off.

I never seem to have radio reception, so I thought I'd try the echo dot--I'm so impressed! It streams whatever I want to listen to, tells me the weather, answers questions! I'm so impressed--I now want one in every room :-)

This is convenient, small, and great for the guest room. This helps to control the lights, offers music, and connects to the echo in the main kitchen area for the intercom function.

The set up was easy. The sound is very nice. Being in another room doesn’t matter just have Alexa turn up the volume or turn it down. Soothing sounds before you or the kids sleep. So many things to do with this dynamite dot!

This review is not so much about the Dot because there are thousands of those to filter through. Clearly Amazon is phasing this version out because you’re limited to one color and no option for the one with the clock. That being said Amazon is offering this dot with a lightbulb on their site for the same price but with quite a delay in delivery. But not to be outdone Best Buy is offering the same deal plus 4 months Sirius XM! And you can pickup in 1 hour! How can you pass that up? You can’t. So if you’re in the market for one, buy now before they’re all gone! $19.99 plus free bulb and Sirius XM.

I first was hesitant to use a voice recognition device, but I've really enjoyed having it. It was pretty easy to set up, and it very rarely has responded except when summoned.
