I love my Echo Dot. I can ask her most questions and she know the answer. I can ask her to turn to a radio station or call someone. Alexa is great. But I hope she’s not spying on me. I would be very disappointed.

This is a great little assistant! I also have the Google nest too but I actually like this better for adding stuff to my grocery shopping list and alarms. It Can do so much more even with Bluetooth and setting up default music, news and podcasts. Also you can set up your roku and Amazon firestick to it, also if you shop a lot through prime it tells you when your package will arrive and when it was just delivered. Yes I heard rumors about the Assistants being like a big brother but who knows? Lol

My third one! I have one in my living room, bedroom and basement. Makes it very simple to listen to the radio, music, weather or anything else throughout the house without other devices.

Echo dot is a must have in any current lifestyle. Connection to your WiFi is easy and works great for controlling any device that is on your wireless network. Our kitchen lights are on WiFi so a simple command from us and our lights are on before we reach the light switch. Great assistance for listening to music while doing the dishes.

I use my echo daily since the day I purchased it. I mostly ask it to play my apple music playlists. And it works 80% of the time. Sometimes it does say there was an error connecting with apple music. But it actually seems to happen less often now. It knows a lot. Answers most of my questions. Overall a great device. I’ll be getting a second one for another room soon.

First Alexa device. People tell me it sounds better than the 2nd gen. Works well with smart plugs for the home. Very easy to use.

I have had both the second and third generation Echo Dots. The third generation is substantial improvement providing superior sound. Obviously not a high fidelity device, but considering size and cost it is remarkable.

It's the 2nd one I purchased and I love them! I also like the sale price! I like that I can ask questions and get the answers without having to search for them!

When it comes to the Alex dot... well you cant have to many around the house. Great looks, awesome sound quality, and responsiveness... the Dot cant be beat

Got it on a very good Black Friday deal for $18 and a free light bulb. Great price! I love this Alexa. I had the first Alexa and she had some processing issues. So far she works good

Bought this to add music to another room. Sound is fine for such a small speaker and the price was ridiculously low.

As with even the older version, same commands, same responses. The updated version is much nicer looking and has some additional features. When combined with a hub, you have awesome controls of multiple devices and dots.

Works well, I am able to customize the voice and was able to change the name from pre-chosen names to activate it. Just wish you could name it anything rather than picking from about 4 pre-selected names but I guess its to avoid calling it anything inappropriate but that should be the choice of the owner.

My 13-year-old son uses this with his Gaming Computer and it works phenomenally. The echo dot is extremely lear and concise

What else can you say! It’s the Echo Dot “Alexa” she listens to your needs. If you have any thing that you want controlled etc...thermostat, lights, shades and TV... she can do all of that and more.

I got this as part of my Ring Pro doorbell I received and didn't think I wanted it so gave to my daughter. She absolutely loves it and so is now buying one for her dad for Christmas, so I guess I'm getting one after all.

It's smaller than I thought and good for my tiny apartment. The sound quality is awesome and I think better than my BOSE speaker.

Gave this as a gift. Mostly used to turn off light, play music and give a news briefing. Sometimes I think it’s easier to turn the light off like I always have but other than that, it’s been good and convenient. My kids play games and seem to enjoy. This thing can do way more than we have yet to explore since Christmas. I will likely invest to have more in additional rooms.

I got the echo dot as a free bonus for buying a ring doorbell. It is a great speaker that easily connects to my phone. I really only use it as a speaker and I don't ever use it as an Alexa.
