My echo dot is awesome, alexa answers any questions that my kids ask it. I paired it up with my hue lights and it controls my lights on command. im glad I got my echo dot. it is very helpful

Received this as a free item with purchase. It was very easy to setup and operate. Device has great sound compared to the first dot. We have 3 echo devices. All work flawlessly. Recommended.

I have three one for living room, one for the kitchen, and one for the bedroom. I love it, the sound quality is good for such a little device. The only thing I've ran into is sometimes the one in the kitchen hears something from the living room and says something weird.

The kids love the dot, with music, story, calls and games etc. I like the shopping list, announce function, able to control all other alexa compatible items from one is nice.

First time using this an it was easy. Sync it with my light an everything works great! Still in the getting use to saying Alexa name but I like my purchase.

I love this product. It works with so many products. I say Alexa, goodnight and it will shut off my tv, soundbar, and lights downstairs. I can ask her if my garage is open. I love it.

Well, maybe at your voice. I have both the Echo Dot and Google Home. Both are very good products. I will say that I find the Google Home slightly better. I find that it is better at finding answers to a more broad range of questions. But both are suitable for setting up and pairing with smart home features like NEST and Philips Hue.

Love our echo dots! This one went in our basement so we can play music and stay connected with the family downstairs. No more shouting through the house!

I purchased the Amazon - Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Charcoal for another speaker to go with the Echo and was not sure about the sound but it actually sounds excellent we are very pleased with it.

Absolutely love it - price was fantastic. If you are looking for a little better sound upgrade - otherwise excellent for the price

A great voice controlled home unit that allows you to request a favorite song, a recipe, a joke, anything you want to know. It is like a personal assistant with an encyclopedia in it's hand!

Bought this on sale to add to our collection of Amazon echo devices. In comparing this to a Gen 2, this is a step up. The overall size is a little larger, and its a bit heavier, but it feels solid. You can tell the design envelop was improved to provide a better sound, and overall experience of quality. Commands are the same, response is the same, but the sound quality is vastly improved. Nice job Amazon! Looking to buy more!

Great device We have them in every room of the house Cant remember life with out the help of the voice control of our smart home

so far so good. It's not life changing and I got it for free with my TV purchase so I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Its about what you would expect from a speaker this size. Yes you need to connect it to the alexa app for it to become useful.

Cool gadget to have around. My son likes to use it to find answers to random questions that pop into his head.

Was originally doubtful on how much we would use this. Received one as a gift for Christmas, and loved it so much that we purchased a second one. It's great when you have little ones and find it difficult to have free hands. you can add things to your shopping list, play music, set reminders, set timers, and so much more. we have a smart thermostat and we can set our the temperature from the kitchen. it is an amazing tool that everyone should try.

This is a basic Alexa device compared to the spot and shows that I have. However, it's great to keep on the table by my door to turnoff all of the lights before I leave the house.

Surprisingly good sound for such a small device. I have two to make this a "stereo" system with Alexa.
