What can I say…. this is great, sounds great and best part was I got it free with my Amazon TV as a gift!! Thanks Best Buy!!

The speaker is really small and it saves space unlike other large plug-in speakers. The only downside is that you really gotta learn the commands to utilize it to its full potential.

These are okay but I can't tell much difference between it and the 2nd generation. I use them mostly for voice control of bulbs and switches. I prefer the 2nd gen. better because they make nice wall mounts for them and if in a garage they resist dirt and dust better. These almost seem like a knock off of Googles similar product.

I don't really use it since it came free with another purchase, but it does exactly what it's supposed to. Very loud for it's small form.

Our family loves our echo dot. We use them all over the house to listen to music. I live the drop in feature so I can check on my kids.

I purchased this items without even reading reviews, it was a spontaneous purchased. It's really helpful and easy to use at home. You're never alone with Alexa in the same room! A must have

What can you say about the Dot? It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Be careful, because it's always listening & recording.

I have the 1st gen Echo Dot, put it next to this 3rd generation, it is so much improved in sound quality. The bass is so rich I thought it came from a much bigger speaker.

Best gift I could’ve bought my daughters boyfriend! He loves his new dot and uses it all the time even as a alarm! And for news music and weather updates! So glad we bought this for him !

Got this for my son and he uses it daily. From turing on his lights to listening to podcasts, he absolutely loves this device. Easy for a parent to setup as well.

Added another one in my collection for another room. Great sound and is able to detect my voice from adjacent room. Very happy.

I like this way better than Google home mini I had Alexa listens better and doesn’t talk as much just does what she’s asked to do

I bought this for my daughter..... But we all love it. Playing family games and asking all those questions you always wondered about. Super cool addition to our home!

Ive had an echo dot for a while now. But I purchased this one for helping to automate my home. Having one in each room does help to turn on and off lights.

I find little reason to recommend the other more expensive Echos when the sound quality is great and its feature full. This is a great product at a great price.

Must have AMAZON account to work. Lot of functions it can do. Having fun testing it.

Two (2) of these actually came with the hundreds of dollars in security equipment that I purchased it was part of the special that was going on at my Best Buy store. I never had any plans of using these for myself I don't care to be so connected with prying eyes or ears in my residence. I gave one to my cable company Tech because he's so great and I'll be giving the other one away to someone else who is deserving as well. They do cost $50 each however they were marked down to $30 and again two (2) of them came with my extensive Security package. Because I bought all of the other devices I needed for my hardwired ring front doorbell and my ring camera and solar panel for the back. Good luck if you like these things!
