It is very easy to setup and operate and our whole family has enjoyed using it. The sound quality is really good and I have been impressed by how far away I can stand and speak in a normal voice and it still hears me, there has been times when it does not respond or another Dot from another room responds, overall it works well. When you activate a skill you do have to pay attention to the exact language that you need to use to activate the skill, what you name it.

Love my Amazon echo dot. Easy to set up. Small and out of the way. Great sound.

We love our Alexa Ech Dot. She knows everything! We can ask her anything and she knows the answer. She can be funny too. We ask her the weather forecast everyday. She plays music for us. She tells us jokes. It is a lot of fun and helpful to have an Alexa Ech Dot! I even bought one for my brother

I bought this last month after seeing my daughter brought hers home and how much fun and utility this had. I am yet to explore all functionalities but couple of ways I use are as below: 1. Ask the time in night so I don’t have to look at clock. 2. Ask the weather when I get up, 3. Play Pandora music by hooking it to my account. 4. Automate lighting schedule of prayer room in my house.

Easy to set up this device great low footprint spacesaving device,responsive to certain voice commands as long as little to no background noise worth it if you want to save battery power on phone and stream music .

I'm super impressed with the quality of the Echo 3 dot. I'm really blown away with the quality of sound of the speakers, Alexa is very responsive and fast in its interaction with you. I originally bought two. This is my first Echo 3 dot. I was so impressed I went back to the store and bought two more. The price was also great, I'm surprised it didn't cost more. I highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed.

Overall excellent product. Set up process is easy. Speaker is smart enough to handle simple instructions but not too complicated ones. I guess this is not only about this product. The current mainstream smart home technology is not that advanced, so most of the smart speakers are still "dumb". Speaker sound quality is very good for the price. Wifi connectivity is generally stable, but it will work better with wifi routers which can handle more devices. Setting up a smart home means many devices will be connected by wifi, so if you already have several phones and computers at home, additional smart home devices may have connection issues.

Got the new Dot smart speaker and have to say the wait was worth it. I have numerous devices now and really didn't need another one, but thought it would be nice to have one in the bathroom while taking a shower or "other" duties. I heard for a small speaker, the sound was incredible and being as small as it is, placement would not be a problem. Correct on both parts. Larger Echo speakers have better sound, but for a speaker this small and unobtrusive, fantastic.

I have owned Amazon Echo products for a very long time now. Before this I had the 2nd gen echo dot and decided to gift that one away and upgrade to this new generation. The good: Sound quality is much improved which I like a lot. Just don’t expect anything crazy from this little speaker. It also looks much nicer now, so it makes for good decor to any home. The bad: I’m still a little annoyed by Amazons speech recognition. I speak as clearly as I possibly can in a quiet room and the Echo still has a hard time understanding what I say sometimes unless I speak a lot slower. Overall it is a great assistant and speaker and I recommend one to anyone looking to get a cheap entry level smart home assistant or is looking to upgrade.

We bought three of these to enable us to listen to music throughout the house. These provide great sound without taking up much space, and are very easy to control by voice. My only complaint is that these can't be used unless they're plugged in (they don't have a battery mode).

I love my Alexa. I have my light powered on and off by Alexa, and my guest loves her too. I no longer leave a light on when away from home because I can tell the Alexa power light on when returning, or I can turn my light on through my Alexa app on my cell phone. I also enjoy being able to tell Alexa to play my favorite selective songs. It's amazing! Great product.

I am knee-deep in the ecosystem of a rival brand (rhymes with "Dapple") but received this product because it was packaged with my video doorbell. I installed it in one of my bathrooms and I have so appreciated the look and sound of this device. It is very easy to ask Alexa to play music or weather forecasts. It is an affordable device for those interested in dabbling in voice recognition devices.

I wake up in the middle of the night and no longer do I have tolook through blurry eyes or open my eyes at all. I just say "ALEXA what time is it?" then I go back to sleep. And when I wake up I ask Alexa what the weather will be that day. Then I tell her to remind me to .... go to a meeting, take medicine, breathe, wake up at 6am. I resisted ECHO but finally gave in when I realized it would read to me , sing to me, play THE MOTH and other Podcasts.

I truly love my echo dot..Alexa has a few issues understanding me if not close enough but overall,she's very accurate with what I ask of her.I love the sound quality and the volume. Great buy at Best Buy.

The Echo Dot is the right size, sound and price to have located through out the house.

I have used this product every day since I bought it and let me tell you it’s been amazing. It has loud speakers, and it is very good in price and portable all we need is solar alexa

We received a free unit when buying the Ring doorbell and I personally enjoyed the Echo Dot more than doorbell! The dot is extremely easy to hook up, the abilities of the unit surpassed my expectations, so much so we bought a second for the upstairs. Both units can play the same thing (simultaneously) in different locations! The sound system is excellent. The dot provides you with news, weather, music and much more! I love it and highly recommend it!
