This is a great toy, it dose about everything i request. I needs to get some for my guest bedroom.

The sound quality is much better than the previous versions. I wish they would incorporate an internal thermometer into these for monitoring room temperature.

This is the first Echo Dot that I have had. It works well and is very useful. I have bought additional ones for each level of my home. I highly recommend it.

Alexa is still working as good as ever and the 3rd gen gives a much better sound with more base the previous version. If you enjoy using smart outlets and lights, it rocks.

What would we do without Alexa?! She has become part of the family. So easy to pair with other devices. And the device is not an eyesore, very discrete.

I got a free Amazon Echo Dot with the purchase of a Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat. This comes in handy for the upstair area for the kids to listen to there own music.

Was included as a free gift from Best Buy when I bought my new 4K TV. It was easy to set up and will be fun to use. The Echo Dot can be easily placed in any room.

The newest model echo dot has better sounding speakers but no longer uses the standard micro USB power cable, so is not as flexible to move around without carrying the supplied power adapter. Overall a nice upgrade in appearance and sound quality with the Alexa voice service.

This amazon echo dot 3rd gen is awesome. It's like having a personal assistant by your side. You can make calls, set a reminder, appointment and you can ask a lot of things like turn off the lights, ask alexa how to cook, what's the weather today, listen to a music using pandora or spotify. The sound quality is really great eventhough it is very compact.

I prefer this generation as the speaker is better and overall looks better. I have all the other Alexa devices around the house so this was a good upgrade from my gen 2 dot
