Great product..never new this device would be this easy to operate, you only have to speak and it follows your command..easy easy to use

I am a Google person and have only Google Smart Home products. I did however get a Ring Alarm Security System because it cost much less to own and operate one compared to the Nest Secure. I also got free cloud storage for my video cameras. This prompted me to get the Ring doorbell when I was ready for one and I got this Echo Dot for free with the Ring Doorbell. It is good so far and I can arm and disarm my Ring Alarm with voice. I am still waiting to get an update for Alexa Guard. But I am thinking Alexa is a worthy competitor for the Google Assistant.As an added touch, the Echo Dot also has an Aux out!!!!

Sounds good for it’s small size. Alexa is very responsive to your commands. I set her up using my iPad, and it worked well if you take your time to understand the app.

My Alexa is everything and more. Plays really loud. Alexa responds.

I love to hear music on this device, is absolutely amazing

It’s give off a decent sound, Alexa follows commands really well. We have it connected to our Spotify so alexa automatically plays Our playlists.

This speaker sounds so much better than the first gen. It's better if you set up in a stereo pair. A better sound stage vs 1 speaker. Use this set up in my kitchen.

Unboxed it & plugged it in, and within minutes Amazon recognized it and sync. This came free with my amazon TV. The sound quality wasn't so great as a speaker but it easily controls your TV if needed.

Love the echo dot, I use it mainly for when I go to sleep. I ask Alexa to play “thunderstorms” because it helps me sleep better at night.

Still learning what all it can do but sure is nice getting it to play the music I want to hear and turn on the lights when I am away!

If your familiar with the echo family this one is basically a continuation of the echo dot. Except the speaker on this one appears to be better with fuller sound.

We were a tad slow adopting the smart technology but these are low cost and work great. We have 2 in the house and are already finding more ways to integrate the tech

We have this one in the kitchen and my son uses it when he washes dishes. We love it and you can play music in every room if you have one in every room.

I bought this to use to access Alexa, and it does that very well. But I was really surprised about how good the sound is from such a small package. Nice job, Amazon!

After learning about Alexa at a friends house, we decided we needed one. Now we have one in each room and life is easier. Helps my daughter with her homework as well.

I love these things!! The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small form factor. The next gen dot will have a lot to live up to.

I have five echo dots, an echo spot and an echo show set up in my house. They work perfectly together. I control all my lighting and thermostat with them. Alexa rocks!
