A great beginner smarthome item. Speakers are decent quality, but can also connect to external speakers via 3.5mm cable or bluetooth. Alexa doesn't function as well at answering general questions as I would've liked, but overall I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I received this echo dot when I purchased my Ring doorbell and let’s me tell you it doesn’t disappoint! I like it’s better then my google home sound.

The quality of the speaker improved greatly from the 2nd to 3rd generation. I have several of these around the house all linked together and really enjoy a "whole house audio" experience. Only downside is they lose their connection sometimes and have to be setup again.

I was reluctant to purchase one. But it’s so useful and makes my life so much easier. It’s like having your own personal assistant.

I got this with a promo deal of BOGO with the ring peephole doorbell. If you have the doorbell then the echo dot is amazing. Not only does it answers questions on demand, play music, but it also announces when there’s motion in being detected by the ring doorbell. It also has a drop in option almost like an intercom when you can listen to what’s going on in the background of where the echo dot is placed. Great feature for people with kids, you don’t have to scream across the house to get their attention.

Got this to listen to music only. Not the greatest speaker but does the job. Easy to set up.

I got this on an incredible cyber weekend price. How can you go wrong? Better sound quality than the first generation.
